Scottsboro Nails in Scottsboro, AL

Today I had my nails and a pedicure done . First time at Scottsboro Nails, and I will return when I'm at the lake. Yen, took her time and did a fantastic job on my nails and toes. The shop was set up very nicely for the distances rules. They where only taking appointments. Very clean shop and very pleasant, and friendly run shop. Thanks for a great experience!

I went in today, 7/23/19 and I just wanted to get them painted because I was going on vacation. Well the person doing my nails was not nice, he kept looking at the tv, and he was digging his nail in the sides of my toes. My nail polish was put on and there are spots with no polish, there are bubbles, and you could still see my nail and he even saw that. I won't be going back ever again.

I just moved to Scottsboro about a month ago and finally had time to myself for a spa day. So I walked in and asked for a Gel pedicure, which is my normal. My gel pedis usually last 2-3 weeks until my feet start feeling crusty. I ask for shaving of my calluses and a deluxe for the added benefit of massage and hot towel. The Male individual asked "you have gel already on and want gel back on?" I said yes. He quoted me $45 for deluxe pedi with Gel $45. He started by removing previous gel application with sander and then alcohol and aluminum wrap (normal). I was soaking in alcohol for almost 10min before he came back. He then removed previous gel, cut down, filed and filled up tub for me to soak. He massaged for a minute, very lightly, which felt like a tickle and had me soak in tub again while he did the other leg. He wrapped towel and had me soak on tub with towel on. Then he took brush for calluses. He was doing my first foot with purple scrubber and it dropped on ground. I had him stop while I went to bathroom. Wiped my legs and asked "how much for me to leave now". He said $35. My boyfriend watched all of this occur. He said the dude was more interested in the Ellen show on TV rather than doing his job. Needless to say, I won't return here. The photo is my toes after removing previous gel pedi from a month ago and filing. He didn't even file evenly. My bf said I should not have even paid considering it was not a pedicure I received.

I am currently in the process of moving to Scottsboro, so I am new to all businesses at this time. I recently visited Scottsboro Nails, while the staff was friendly the service was horrible. For starters the price is $5.00 more for white tips (basic acrylic nails)which makes the price $30.00, this is not printed or written on their sign. 6 nails are noticeably filed uneven, (square) two of the tips aren't glued to my actual nail, by the 5th day 7 nails had started to lift. I went into my normal salon (in TN) asked if they could be repaired, he said he could repair but it would be better to replace. I am hoping to find a better nail salon in Scottsboro.
