Sarah Beery Hair (inside Avenge Your Hair Salon) in Indianapolis, IN

Simply fabulous! I go to Sarah as much as I can, I normally just give her a general idea of what I want and let her do whatever she thinks will look good. I have yet to be disappointed. Also, Sarah is the only person I have ever gone to for my eyebrows and not ended up having an allergic reaction. I don't know what wax she uses but I am so happy to have found a place to have it done where I don't end up with swelling, hives, redness, and itchiness. I love the privacy of the salon too, it's relaxing to have no one else there and to just chat while she works.

I have had not so wonderful positive experiences with other salons until I entered Sarah Beery Salon on 64th and college.
Sarah really knows your hair well.
The environment is extremely relaxing and tranquil. She will be my lifetime hair person. I highly recommend her.

If it were possible, I would give zero stars as I was never even able to have my appointment. I raced from downtown in order to make it to my 6:00 p.m. first appointment with Sarah Beery. I got there right on time only to see Sarah in the middle of a color. Without a formal greeting more than assuring that I was her 6:00 appointment, she told me that she would be 20 minutes late and to have a seat. She never asked me if that would be okay with my schedule nor did she even offer me a drink. I sat and waited. 20 minutes came and went and Sarah never checked in on me. After thirty minutes I was hungry and had to go to the bathroom. I told Sarah I couldn't wait any longer and had to leave. Her response? "Okay." No apologies, no offer of a discounted haircut at her next availability. I have never been treated so poorly, especially by someone in the customer service industry.

After having Sarah perform a color style/trim for me, I'm extremely impressed. Her pricing is very fair and she was able to pull off what several other stylists could not in the past. Sarah is professional, easy going, creates a comfortable/personable atmosphere, and has no fear of working with colors no matter how muted or loud the color.  I could not be happier with my hairstyle. Sarah made a point to let me know what she was going to do, ask (and truly listen) to my input, and educate me on how to properly care for/style/maintain my hair. I will continue to give her my business and recommend her to as many as I can. She's amazing and I believe her to be part human, part wizard!
