Salon4men in Stowe, VT

My normal barber was booked so I walked in here in my dads recommendation and they were able to squeeze me in.  Place was very clean and everyone was really nice.  The best part was the haircut was perfect. I just told them make it look good... and they did. Got a ton of compliments on what a great hair cut it was and the best part was it grew out perfectly and I didn't feel like I needed another haircut for a while!

Sign outside door states "Walk ins Welcome."  I walked in and there were no customers there and all the chairs were open.  I spoke to a woman and she stated that she would see who was available.  After 10 minutes she came back out and stated that it would be too tight to fit me in.  I was flabbergasted.  I then drove all the way to Supercuts in Williston and I walked in and I was instantly placed in a chair and my haircut, which was spectacular, was over and done with in 20 minutes. and $10 cheaper.  Stay away from Salon4men.  Not worth the money or the effort.  Extremely lazy and worthless staff.

A decent haircut and amenities but did not at all listen to what I wanted done. Said that I'd like the sides down to the skin and that I was growing the top out. First thing she did was cut a section off the top... she then started taking it down nowhere near to the point I had in mind on the sides. At this point I just said whatever, do your thing, as the look I had in mind was already ruined. All I can imagine is that she has a set look in mind and does not like to deviate from that. If you like a standard, decent business cut this place is good but my directions toward the unique look I was going for were completely ignored. After driving an hour on two separate occasions for this haircut I will definitely not be returning to have my directions ignored again. Now to wait for my hair to grow out yet again and hope the next barber I stop at can take my concerns into consideration, rather than rush me through giving me the same standard haircut as every other Joe that comes through.

I believe the cutters name was Kat (?).

I love Salon4Men and the talented staff who have made the experience of going there much like my old barber in Boston. The atmosphere is relaxing and I find the haircuts well worth the cost! I have gone here many times and will continue to return!!

My partner has never had the distinct pleasure of having his haircut absolutely butchered until now. Lisa, in addition to giving him a bowl cut, shaved a hole into the back of his hair. In addition the dog constantly in the salon loves to growl and bite salon goers, as it bit my foot while there. Will be filing a federal business complaint for misleading business, I have posted pictures of the terrible cut. In addition I will be reporting the aggressive dog. I sincerely hope Lisa is fired from her position, as I doubt she is actually a trained hair dresser. Absolutely appalling.

As I just noticed Lisa is the owner. If she has a shred of respect, she should close her business, as I continue to doubt her training and certification. 12 years cutting hair? Ridiculous.
