Salon Tru in Blairsville, GA

Disclaimer: this review is based on scheduling alone, I have NOT been into this salon or received any services. I scheduled an appt online for about 12 days in advance. I received a text to cancel and reschedule (after the business confirmed and accepted my appt) 5 days before my appt. I gave a couple of options and she said she would make it work. She rescheduled to a time frame in the options I gave (I received a new appt text, nothing in response to my reply) to which I confirmed. Two days later (5 hours before my appt) she cancelled on me. I find this practice to be really unprofessional to cancel not once, but twice on a new client. Clearly my business is not desired nor needed. I found the entire situation really unprofessional and disappointing. I could've simply got my hair cut somewhere else 12 days ago but all of my time was wasted by this individual. I wish I could have experienced for myself the quality of the salon, but after being cancelled on twice, I am not going to reschedule. I think the lack of consideration really speaks for itself and I do not wish to give this establishment my hard earned money.

I HAD been going to one of the owners of this salon for well over 7 years, until a month ago and never again. When a hair dresser does your hair every 4-5 weeks for several years and then at the very least for past 2 years every 12 weeks, they should not only know what you like but know your hair. I made the decision to have my long hair cut off. I showed Lindsey the pictures of several short hair styles I liked, keep in mind she knew my hair after 7 plus years but she didn't get it. In fact she cut my hair like an unexperienced hairstylist. I asked her if she'd like to see the pic's I showed her and she said she had it. I told her enough as she continued to cut as I had said short on sides long on top and she snickered and kept cutting. Needless to say I think a 5 year old could have given me a better hair cut. I think it's about time for an intensive class on todays cutting techniques and styles and an update for this hairstylist.....Have to wonder if to much anesthesia and plastic surgery has affected her brain and ability to comprehend what her customers want. Without a doubt her family and cronies will stand to her defense but any well trained and educated stylist will know I got a butcher job. Want a trim, maybe your in luck, want a style, run else where!

Beautiful salon with great stylists. Glory is fabulous but I've seen the other stylists work and they are skilled as well. Susan, the salon owner, is friendly and helpful.
