Salon Royval in Chattanooga, TN

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. Most unprofessional hairstylist I have ever worked with. Holly has damaged my hair. I tried to speak to her about it and instead she blocked my calls and she is avoiding me. I have made many attempts to contact owner Monica but she will not respond either. I only use professional hair products and take great care of my hair, I asked for a simple highlights touch up however Holly has over processed and fried my hair. With the amount of breakage I now have,  I am afraid it is beyond repair.  
I am taking this matter to small claims court. I would suggest that others who have problems with this salon do the same. The staff will not help you.

I used Salon Royval's hair and makeup services for our wedding back in October. Monica did an awesome job not just on my hair but also for my entire bridal party on our wedding day. Her work alone is impressive but she's also really fast! Like doing hair is just second nature for her. I saw her for a trial appointment the day before so I could also have hair done for rehearsal dinner and welcome party. I described what I wanted: a low and loose updo, slightly to the side and something comfortable that would hold up throughout the long day's activities. Since it was a trial she didn't do it exactly what it would be for the big day, but almost like a sketch of what it would generally look like. It took all of 10 minutes. Then she spent the rest of the appointment making my hair fabulous for the rehearsal dinner and welcome party. The next day she arrived on time and ready to go. She worked her way quickly though 2 moms, 3 bridesmaids, a flower girl, and then my hair. My mom wears a wig and Monica was very sweet to work through options with her; either styling her real hair, her wig, or just leaving her wig as-is. Monica wasn't offended when my mom decided just leaving her wig as it was since it made her most comfortable. She wants her clients to feel beautiful and comfortable and I really appreciate how she worked with my mom through that. Very professional.
Candace and Holly did makeup for the entire bridal party. They were great and both really talented. Candace did my trial makeup the day before also for rehearsal. She asked me what kind of look I wanted and she executed! I'd call it classic glam. Shimmer lids and winged eyeliner. I wanted a natural-ish lip so I wouldn't have to worry about smudging or keeping up with it (honestly I'd have been happy with chapstick). She was able to create a low-maintenance lip that looked great in pictures and was smooch-friendly for my groom.
Overall I was really happy with how hair and make-up turned out for myself and my bridal party. Everyone looked absolutely stunning in photos and in person, even by the end of the evening!

We purchased a Groupon because my daughter was begging to get her hair cut is a stylish pixie.  It wasn't until after we purchased the Groupon that we saw the reviews on Yelp.  We weren't sure what to expect.   We had a wonderful experience!  The salon is cute and comfy. Holly, our stylist was friendly and highly-skilled.  My daughter's cut turned put even better than she had hoped.  Would highly recommend.

Having a prepaid deposit means absolutely nothing.  I was stood up by both the hair stylist and makeup artist.

Candace and her team are so much fun and work really well at making a person feel taken care of and pretty every step of the way. Also the final look in the mirror after having them work on you is always a noticeable Wow! Love their parties and also just stopping in for a basic service. Thx ladies!
