Salon Plush is amazing. I moved to LI from DC in 2021 and had been going to the same stylist in DC for 8 years, so I was nervous that I would not find somewhere in LI that was as good. I tried several salons in the area and was disappointed again and again. Until I found Salon Plush. Missy and Gia are incredible. I have had extensions since 2018 and they have NEVER looked as good as they do now. I'm super finicky about haircuts and balayage highlights and somehow Missy understood what I was asking for and nailed it. Every time I come here they take their time to make sure everything is perfect. The team at Salon Plush are truly fantastic and I'm so happy I found them!

Literally the head manager of the place and her stylists recommended a purple conditioner that turned my hair back to brown. Switched to a professional stylist and she was stunned. Literally begged me not to use it because it would ruin my hair. Cant believe they actually did that. Just super unprofessional and shows they don't actually know what they are doing. Oh I did I mention I left the place hating my hair on top of it? Paid 400 only for it to fade out in 3 weeks and they didn't even do the color I want Bc they were scared. The new place I switched to got the exact color I wanted in one session and it lasts me 3 months and it cost me less.
The owner Missy reached out to me via email and I decided to give it another go at this salon. I had already gone to a different salon to cut 6 inches off but there was a band of layers from the Salon Plush cut that the new stylist tried to blend in and it only looked worse. Missy was very focused and assessed the damage with a keen eye. She knew exactly how to cut my hair without getting scissor happy and I came out looking better than going in. The band of hair will continue to grow out and hopefully I can put all of this behind me for good as I continue to cut the layers out. Overall pretty good cut/blowout and I would highly recommend going to Missy.
Beautiful salon! Although I haven't personally received services from this salon we got my boyfriends mom a gift certificate for her birthday for services at this salon. The salons ambiance is beautiful and updated. It looks very upscale and the staff was nice enough to put the gift card in a bag with beautiful tissue paper. His mom loved their services and booked a second appointment after her gifted appointment.
