I just wanted to Thank Katrina, Cara and Marci for the care that they had given my Wife. Barb had health issues which made visits to salons very challenging and I was determined to spoil her as she always loved looking great. The staff here were so patient and understanding and helped me to give her that extra quality of life. She felt like a new person and Katrina always answered my questions so I could maintain it. Couldn't tell you anything other than the fact that they were very rude and dismissive. My wife to be needed a hair blowout and stopped in to see if they could do it as her regular stylist was out of town. They said they never work without an appointment (which is what she stopped in to get) and told her to go elsewhere. I would suggest that anyone that like to be treated well and have good service go to the guest house salon in the Hellam area.
This is an amazing salon...it's so beautiful inside and has some of the most Talented stylists in York ....I followed Jessie Morgan here...she is an amazing stylist and colorist...Takes the time to really listen to what I wanted and gives great tips on what looks best on me...You can tell the stylists love working here...Great atmosphere and so friendly!
I moved from California to the York PA area due to a promotion for my husband. I was referred to this salon by a friend. I was unable to get in with the stylist that I was originally referred to so I made an appt with Lindsey after the receptionist assured me that everyone in the salon is equally talented and Lindsey will be more than happy to listen to my desires and work with me to get what I want. I have a card from my stylist in California that had my color mix written down on it so that gave us a great base to work with. After talking for a bit, Lindsey and I tweaked the color a tad and the toner a tad and the results were stunning!!! I love the ash light brown with ashy blonde sombre and THAT is exactly what I got. She did everything perfectly. I am scheduled to go back in 8 weeks for a root touchup and a trim. I am wanting to give her 5/5 stars for color but as for her cutting process I have not experienced that yet.... But for color she is spot on and listens to the client which to me is how you keep people coming back. I do not need to shop for another stylist for color. I am perfectly happy with Lindsey.
