Salon Michelle in Stockton, CA

This was my first time coming into this salon to see Lidia. The salon is very nicely remodeled. Lidia made the entire process go so smoothly, she not only gave me the exact color I wanted, but also gave me some samples of products she used on my hair! All of the girls here were very nice, a great experience overall! The pictures do it no justice!!

i absolutely love maria!! I travel all the way from san jose just to get my hair cut by her. Shes amazing and magical. Totally worth it and more.

My first impression of this place, when calling to ask for how much a haircut costs, wasn't the best. Also made me hesitant to even call the stylist directly for information. When the girl picked up the phone, there was a pause, then a "Hello?". No, saying the name of the business or even friendliness in the tone. If you're going to give me attitude for saying the name wrong, then you might want to SAY IT when you pick up the phone for the business. At least that's how a business that actually wants revenue would or should do it. Just waiting for the return call from the stylist I read good reviews about, but I'm also considering just looking elsewhere too. Cause if that is the impression you give first time customers, hate to see what the actual service would be like. Will update if things progress from this point. Two stars for experiencing better. UPDATE: Never received a response from the hairdresser I got the direct number for. Very disappointing. Went to Salon Pomp, across the street and was VERY happy with the overall service and results. So, maybe I should be thanking you for the lack there of of customer service. Really is a shame.

I can't believe I forgot to review this place! I was reminded to do so after a friend told me of her less than satisfactory hair disaster here. (But I'll let her write her own review) about a year and a half ago I had the worst haircut of my life here. I chose this salon initially because it was voted "Best of Stockton". I wish I could remember the hairdresser's name (using that title rather loosely) but she was very pretty with long blondish hair and bangs. I asked for long layers and a side fringe. What I got was a complete hack job. Think crooked Dutch boy look in front and hacked mess in the back! I actually left the salon in tears, and no one said or did a thing. I came home and cried and cried, my poor husband trying his best to console me but could find little positive to say about the situation other than, "well, it will grow out...eventually". I spent 6 months wearing nothing but ponytails, headbands, and clipping my crooked dutchboy fringe to the side with bobby pins so I could be presentable to society. I don't know if the rest of the stylists are this bad since there is not a chance in hades I will be going back to find out, but they still get only 1 star because: 1.) The salons manager and other stylists could see me paying and walking out crying with an obvious hack job, yet nothing was done. 2.) I regard with suspicion any salon that would hire someone like that- I might as well have had a 5 year old cut my hair. Shows that their standards aren't very high!

Nails by Regine She's does a wonderful job & uses the true Shellac products to create beautiful nails. My nails have never been lovelier thanks to her. Highly recommend her services. Picture posted, I hope.
