Salon Eleni in St Clair Shores, MI

My 16 year old son has long hair and is super picky about who cuts it and he liked Salon Eleni.

I came here yesterday for my appointment with Suela and she was absolutely amazing! The minute I came in she was extremely welcoming and really understood what I wanted for my hair. I appreciated that so much because my hair is important to me and I care a lot about how it looks. I will never go anywhere else nowthe salon was very clean, busy and everyone was so so nice! 10/10!!

I had been looking for a new stylist soon after the salons were able to open back in June. From my first experience making the appointment, to arriving at the salon, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The salon is very modern, neat and clean and all COVID precautions are in place. It can be a little scary trying out a new salon but I felt at ease right from the start. Bona is a fantastic colorist and stylist and actually listened to me when I explained what I was looking for and also had suggestions as well. Great salon!

I was about six weeks postpartum with hair down to my lower back when I had had enough and needed a haircut. We had family in town, so with an extra hand at home I had a small window of time to sneak out for a cut. I called Salon Eleni and after expressing my needs, the wonderful receptionist asked for my number to call me back so that she could see if one of their stylists could come in for me. Suela came to the rescue! She came in early to squeeze me in and did an amazing job with my hair. Suela made me feel right at home in the salon and I hope to get a chance to go back to see her for color! Thank you Suela!

I've been here twice now, the first time for a real overhaul - a complete color, highlights, straightening and finally a cut. The 2nd time for roots coloring and a trim. Both times I saw Bona. My hair looks great, everyone has complimented me on the color and style. The straightening has continued to work well, with no frizzies or waves popping through. The salon itself is nice, very pleasant environment, not overly fancy, but well decorated and comfortable. They have coffee, water and treats available. The last time I was there they were offering bailey's for your coffee and wine was brought out around 5pm. Bonus! I didn't indulge because we were having one of our raging snow storms, and I felt it best to not imbibe. But hopefully next time. It's not cheap, but their prices were in line with other nice places I've been to. The key for me is finding someone that can provide consistent results over time, hopefully this is that place. Only downside for me was the length of time each visit took, the first one I was there 3 hours, the 2nd visit 2 hours. That's partly due to them juggling multiple clients to maximize their income and partly due to the services being provided. (You have to sit and wait while the color takes or the straightener works). They also Don't take credit cards, cash or check only, which is kind of a bummer, I don't usually travel with a lot of cash on me and never have my checkbook on me, so you have to remember before you head out to get one or the other. I'll be back though - a good hairdresser that can do wonders with your hair is hard to find.
