2 asian hair stylists laughed at me and said 'she thinks she has white woman's hair!' for showing them a photo of my desired blowout when i came in for a regular hair straightening appointment. This place is complete shit. They didn't know how to do my hair in the slightest. They refused to brush my hair and started to straighten my hair when it was already wet. Mind you, being a new client, I came with my hair washed and detangled already just to make sure they wouldn't have issues only to come to find out they didn't know how to do hair in general.
Cat did partial highlights on my hair because I didn't want to go too blonde. She's really nice and I love my hair!
I had the best experience with Cat!! She was extremely kind and informative on hair products I can use to keep my hair healthy. She gave me beautiful highlights and a face framing hair cut and blowout that turned out gorgeous!! The manager/owner was also extremely attentive and detail oriented with every client! Salon D is the best salon I've been at in Dallas and you can really tell and feel how much the stylists care for each clients needs. I 100% will come back here and book with Cat again!
I've had my hair cut here twice and both experiences were fantastic. The first cut was a cleanup after over a year of no haircuts and my hair felt so much healthier. The second was getting an undercut in preparation for surgery. The stylist was nervous due to not typically doing undercuts, but, when I explained what it was for and offered to wait for a different stylist, if necessary, she patted my shoulder and told me to sit tight. She did a great job and I was very pleased.
just moved to town and was nervous to find a new hairstylist but I found cat and she did so amazing!! she did exactly what i wanted but even better! everyone else in there was so nice and telling me how pretty it looked, such a great environment! definitely recommend!
