Nicole did such a great job on my hair! I'm so happy with it. She washed and cut my hair. I asked for more layers and to fix my bangs. She was very meticulous and paid attention to detail. You can easily miss the turn into the salon, but they have a parking lot as well. If you do miss the turn with the sign, you can park in front of the building and go in through the glass door. This is a mom and daughter salon and they were both very sweet and inviting! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend this salon!

Nicole is amazing! Super nice and great conversationalist.  I've had several haircuts with her over the years and I have never been disappointed.  She listens to what you want and knows what to do. I'll never go anywhere else!

I had what could basically be described as a walk-in appointment on a Saturday; which is almost unheard of in our area! I live in the same neighborhood; so their location is very convenient. Nicole was wonderfully polite and very precise. I have fine hair and she noticed immediately. I've had problems with stylists trying to treat my hair as if it's thick and full and unfortunately that doesn't work for me. Their salons atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. My appointment was exactly what I asked for and needed. Nicole asked all the right questions and also kept the conversation going while I was in her chair. I was also able to have my eyebrows serviced as well and I am happy with the results. I felt as though Nicole took her time, was professional and accommodating while also being personable. Thank you for obliging my impulsive whim. I will be back.

I went to this salon with high hopes, since they are - local asian salon owned by a mother and daughter. Though the place was clean, I left with a very displeasing haircut. I had very thick and medium-length hair that was thinned and unevenly layered in the front. Though I asked for layers, I did not ask for the layering and thinning to the extent where my ponytail is now a horse tail with few hairs. The front layers has shaped my head like a coconut. I'm confused as to how the daughter and mother have fantastic hair, but left me with a haircut that was trendy in the early 2000s when extensive layering and thinning was popular.

I do not suggest this place for young Asian girls looking for a haircut. The daughter did mention 12 years of experience, but, ironically, it just may not be experience with cutting asian hair.

I will now be getting extensions to gain my thickness and evenness back.

Love Salon Avenue! I cut and dyed my hair from black to ashy blonde. Nicole did an amazing job. She was very patient and made sure my hair came out the way I envisioned it. You should definitely give them a try if you're looking to get fresh locks.
