I called to see if they take walk ins and they said they don't, but that they could see if they could work me in for an appointment the same day. Lisa ended up having an opening for me and I was able to be seen a couple hours after I called. I was looking for a new stylist after mine retired. I was really nervous getting my hair done by someone new and without having any personal recommendations,just going off of online searches and availability. I did have to wait maybe ten fifteen minutes past my appointment time, but since they worked me in it wasn't a big deal. The receptionist offered me a drink and kept updating me on my wait time. Lisa was so kind and honest from the second I met her! She was very upfront about price, which I really appreciated. She listened to what I was looking for. She gave me advice without being pushy and knew exactly what I wanted. She was a fast worker and I love my hair.
I came in to see Karen (who is amazing). I had spent the summer dying my own hair purple and other, "party colors". I was ready to have a normal tone again and came in for Karen to preform a color correction. My hair is super thick and takes a long time to manage. Karen was patient and thorough and obviously knew what she was doing. The process took a considerable amount of time and all the while, the other stylists and the receptionist as well as Karen would offer me beverages and ask if I needed anything. It felt like sitting in the kitchen of a friend while magic is being preformed upon your locks. I would recommend Karen at Salon Allure to anyone who wants to maintain the integrity of their hair while changing it up.
Love coming to salon allure for my haircuts and hair removal I always get right in and my stylist is always in point. All the other girls in the salon are very nice and can offer good conversation. The salon itself is always very clean and the owners seem to take pride in keeping it all up to date. All in all I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new up scale salon.

I went in for an all over dye and highlight.
I was supposed to have burgundy hair all over, but ended up with a dark orange copper color and I guess I was forgotten about as the lady doing my hair was cutting other people's hair while I was under the heater and I must have been left under there too long because the parts of my hair that were highlighted were fried! They literally broke off in my hand and continued to break off for weeks after this appointment! ! and the rest of my hair was incredibly dry and frizzy and took months to heal. So I paid almost 200 dollars for my hair to be turned orange and be completely ruined, my hairstylist said to call her and she would try to fix my hair. I called her, texted her, left messages and she never got back with me. So frustrating. I will never go back.
I had an appointment at 1pm for a cut and color. I arrived a few minutes early and the receptionist was very sweet, offered me a drink and let my stylist know I'd arrived.
My stylist was no where to be found so she had to give her a call. Apparently she's forgotten about my appointment. She arrived about 35 minutes later completely frazzled. She was friendly and apologetic but appeared to not know what she was doing. Very unorganized and scattered.
She didn't have the proper tools and kept walking away to "go get something". She never really listened to what I wanted because she "knew what to do". I already had highlights and I needed them touched up. She dyed my hair an all over brown, completely eliminating my highlights all together. While dying my hair she received a personal phone call and was on the phone for 7-8 minutes. When I asked what she was doing to my hair (after her phone call) she told me she was evening out my tone, when I mentioned I only wanted highlights, she looked confused and said she needed to do this first, before she did the highlights. I think she actually misunderstood and thought I wanted my highlights gone...but that was not the case.
After she washed my hair the receptionist let her know her next appointment was there and me and my wet, brown hair scadaddled out of there...but not before paying almost $200! She told me to make another appointment for highlights....ummmm no.
