Salon 926 in Wilmington, DE

got a much needed appoitnemtn the same day i called thanks to a convenient cancellation. The spa is tucked away off 202. its a beautiful space with lots of though towards cleanliness before, during, and after your appt.  masks on 100% of the time b/c of covid but everyone super friendly and professional. my hair feels great!

It's a busy time of year and I'm new in town and my job has me on call so, trying to book an appointment was kinda rough (because of me, not them) but, Nancy was doing her best to get me in, and I asked if I could be put on the cancellation list for the particular stylist she was recommending, and low and behold, it worked out! I ended up getting in earlier than expected due to a cancellation! The salon is warm and friendly, as you wait for your appointment time, you can look at their jewelry and products (I don't know if it's just seasonal, because it is Christmas time), but either way, I wasn't in a rush so, I ended up purchasing some cute earrings and assisted someone else in selecting some as well. Tiana was my stylist and she did a great job! I know I'll be a regular! I love my pixie cut.....sassy and classy!

Kim and the staff are great. A nice relaxing experience. Love the way my hair turned out. Looking forward to going back for more services!

I'm not particularly high maintenance when it comes to my hair. In fact, I typically request a cut that will survive with minimal effort in the mornings and won't look terrible if I neglect to go back for another cut for at least 6 months. However, after moving to Delaware almost 5 years ago, I tried a handful of different salons (even waiting to get my haircut until I was visiting Boston where I had a stylist I liked) until I finally found Tiana at Salon 926, who has been amazing. She is easy to talk to, always supportive of whatever hair-related requests I make, and offers honest advice when appropriate. She has never made me feel guilty about my total neglect of my hair (which has happened at other salons). As an added bonus, she always offers to curl my hair at the end, making me feel even more glam.

The salon itself is clean and staff is courteous. There's a cute selection of jewelry and accessories for sale that you can browse while you wait. Making an appointment is easy --- you can request times you want online, and they'll confirm with you via email or phone. This time, despite a relatively restrictive schedule, they were able to find me an evening appointment with my preferred stylist within 1 week of my request. Prices have always been reasonable as well.

Definitely planning to return on a regular basis and would highly recommend Salon 926 and Tiana to all!

I loved it! Everyone was very friendly. Julia did my cut, and even though it was just a cut she spent a lot of time with me. Her and the owner gave me all kinds of tips on best ways to grow my hair out and healthy. As a person who doesn't get much new hair growth (thyroid) I really appreciate it. Oh AND because I was a new client they gave me cards for complimentary eyebrow design AND free manicure. Seriously classy place with classy ladies!
