Salon 6 Central in Stockton, CA

I am going to talk about a particular hair dresser at this salon and not about the salon itself because I have had no bad experiences with the salon itself. This particular hair dresser's name is Sheri Reinhardt. I have known her since high school and we hardly have kept in touch but she is good friends with a mutual friend of mine. About 2 years ago I booked a haircut with her and when I went to the salon she had someone in her chair she was working on and said she accidentally double booked and told me to wait. She had me wait an hour and at that point I just told her I would reschedule. I needed my hair colored recently and my normal hair girl recently closed her shop. I thought I would give Sheri another try and book with her again. When I walked in she had someone in her chair and said to me "oh is your appointment today?" "I f'ed up." I said yes, she was barely putting foil packets of color in her clients hair and I know that takes a long time. I was pissed at this point and told her I was going to go get some coffee and be back. I didn't go back and went home. The nerve of this girl to call me and leave me a message saying who the F do I think I am and don't F with her time. She went on to say why did I call our mutual friend and tell her lies. The message ended with her calling me a piece of s**t and never to contact her again. Like my time is not valuable and for her to do this to me twice is so unprofessional. Word of mouth gets around and you don't t know who I know so to be unprofessional the way she was is crazy. I did call and leave a complaint with the manager and forwarded the manager the nasty message she left me.

So much to love about Salon 6 Central. Convienent location. The salon sits with a handful of other businesses. There is street parking and a lot behind the salon (it's a little wonky,) but I never have a problem finding a spot near/around the salon. The salon itself is cute and well laid out. Front desk with a waiting area in the front. The have a mini fridge with complimentary waters. They also have a coffee station with either candy or a random snack available. Beatuful communal table down the middle, stations around the walls. Shampoo room and dryers off the front area. But what brings me back is JACQUELINE SCOTT! Jackie as I have always called her, has been doing my hair for years. Jackie is a color master, normally I will tell her to do whatever she wants. We have done color mostly on the under layers of my hair so I don't have to be in the salon for a refresh. She is knowledgable on color technique as well as cutting/styling different textures. I love that I leave the salon feeling fresh and after washing and styling my hair myself, I still love it! Jackie is a teacher, I have been doing some of my own color. Jackie will advise me on what I need to use and how to care for my hair. She also sends me home with the remaining tube of color so I can touch up at home. Jackie has flexible hours and normally can get me in within a few days of inquiring for an appointment. I just have an overall positive experience spending time in the salon and of course always love my hair.

Great experience. Jackie Scott is amazing. My friend referred me to Jackie. I wanted to blend my grey and get a nice cut as I had let my hair go for many years. My friends hair always looks healthy and amazing so I asked who she went to. Long story short - I AM SO FREAKIN HAPPY!!! I have already recommended others to her and I will be going back. This review is for Jacqueline (Jackie).... I got a partial highlight, cut, and a deep conditioner. I have been looking for a new hairdresser since mine moved out of state two years ago. I finally found her here! She understands curly hair which is very hard to find someone who can do that! A true expert at her craft! I absolutely loved my highlights! She listened to me and didn't add toner like I asked her not to. Toner turns my hair orange. May hair is very fine. She used no additional heat and that helped protect my hair from being damaged. I can't say enough good things about her but please check my photos out as they speak for themselves!
