Salon 5th Avenue Hair & Spa in San Diego, CA

Been coming to Santiago for 15+ years. always professional, quaint salon in bankers hill. Santiago is a great stylist and my color is always perfection, i went from dark brown too beautiful blonde.

Came to see Johnny B and man was I impressed!
The guy does wonders , very talented and respectful! Love having good conversations with him as I get my hair done. Will definitely be coming back to see Johnny

I would give zero if I could, DO NOT GO There for any hair color, highlights etc, Santino is the most unprofessional hair stylist I've ever seen my entire life, when I arrived at the salon, he was washing his car and he had me waiting for more than 20 minutes until he gets done with his car. He didn't even know how to wrap the foils, he was pulling my hair the entire time sooo hard I wanted to scream! my hair was already balayaged before and I only wanted to touch up the roots to make it blend, not only he burned my roots but also I ended up with a greenish  tone at the end (cause I asked for ash blond!!!) and a orange money piece towards the roots.

Great service- I love my hair every single time. Professional and experienced, Santiago is wonderful.

Unfortunately, I had three attempts to make an appointment. Each of the two calls were chaotic and one was full of apologies for not following through the first time. Showed up for scheduled appointment (received confirmations and day of reminder) and business was closed. He apologized again for not communicating with me. I explained that I drove down without hearing from anyone and he hung up on me. Very bizarre and erratic, I've never experienced this before.
