Salon 52 Inc. in Machesney Park, IL

Went in for Carmel highlights, I got bronze highlights. She used the excuse I had box die in my hair. Well every yr I go get Carmel or blonde highlights after using box die an I walk out of the salons with what I ask an paid for. She had to put a toner in it so now it's darker. So what I went in for an I paid $85 for an walk out with is nothing close to what I ask for. Cuz now I hav reddish brown an bronze highlights. Also I showed her a pic of what I wanted an how far apart I want my highlights that didn't work out either cuz there to close. A waste of mine an Jaymee time an money.

I've been on the search for a new salon since moving out of the city of few years back. This salon is off the beaten path but wow, it's so cute inside and I think I have found my new hair dresser! Jaymee was amazing! She took the time to really talk to me about my hair and the cut was perfect! I'll be back to do color and will update my review.

Salon 52 is the best salon in the 815! Leslie took my crazy hair do and made it look amazing!! Absolutely 100 percent advice you to go to Salon 52!

I used to go and get my haircut and color with Jess H. And she did great work. No one has cut my hair like her. However, I am disappointed that the last 2 or 3 times I had called her she blew me off. One time she told me she would call me back and try to squeeze me in if she had a cancellation and another time she just did not call back. I suppose it is because she mixed personal with business. Not very professional of her to say she would call back and never did. Or maybe she just heard rumors that weren't true and took it against me. Either way I was not going to continue calling her when obviously I kept leaving her messages and she was avoiding me. I would of have loved to know why she changed all of a sudden. I paid her for a service and she did great. However, I'm not the type to keep begging for a service. I'm sure she doesn't loose money with only 2 customers (myself and my daughter) and I am sure the owner does not either. Either way both of them are getting paid. Let me be honest and say props to her for her great job but I do not know why her change. Just saying Jess you lost 2 customers. Want to put this out there so owner is aware and Jess to know you are not professional if you are not communicating.

Been coming here since they opened. Leslie always does my hair and is very friendly as is the rest of the staff. I recently got married so was trying to grow my hair out and she's the first stylist that understood that and didn't take more than split ends off. I'd definitely recommend this place
