Salon 427 in Spring Hill, FL

New here to Hudson.... I finally found my stylist ! Tara was wonderful ! Getting my hair shampooed was so relaxing!

***Edit to add: Steve called me almost immediately and really listened to the issues I had with my experience in his salon. He was very kind and apologetic. He assures me that he will be checking into things. I think that's the best he could do in this situation. Perhaps I should've asked to speak with him right away. I was just so shocked that I didn't know what to do in the moment and the stylist was telling me to go, so I went. What a nightmare!!! This was the WORST salon experience of my life and it last all of 10 minutes. I have curly hair and ever since having kids I have parts of my hair that no longer curl. I have gotten a perm once a year to keep the curls natural looking and so I don't have to apply the heat of curling iron often. The woman here who drs perms looked at me when she met me and rolled her eyes. She was visibly annoyed at the sight of me. She took me back to her chair and says, "What do you want?!" And not in a nice tone, in a very annoyed tone. I explained to her about my hair and why I wanted a perm. She calls over another girl who asks me some questions and then tells her, I think it will be fine to perm her hair, it's healthy and it's been over a year since her last one. This woman again rolls her eyes, says, "Fine!" And starts ripping a comb through my curls! She was pulling hair out of my head. I tell her about it and she ignores me and says well I'm not perming your hair without a haircut. I was shocked but said ok. She says it's $47 and I should be happy because that's cheap. She's cutting less than a 1/4 of an inch! She continues to dry comb and rip through my hair cutting little teeny bits. Then she says and I'm going to have to use two boxes on you that's an extra $75. I said, "wait my hair is just past my ears, and one side is shaved. That takes 2 boxes? That's almost $250 for this perm and 'hair cut'?" She says,"yep" with a pop of her lips. I could tell she wanted me to leave. I said ok Thank You but I'm not paying $250 when my hairs not even long. She rips the cape off of me and says, "Good, I'll let them know up front." I went to the front and she tells me, "you can just leave, Buh bye!" I was so shocked. She was so rude, combative and unprofessional. I couldn't think of a single thing I said to offend her since she barely let me get a word in. I wouldn't go back to this place if they offered me free hair cuts and perms for the rest of my life. Rude, unprofessional and downright nasty. Keep looking there are better places that actually want your business.

Just moved to the area and was looking for the perfect stylist for myself and my daughter that has curly hair. They were able to have stylists for both of us and do incredible jobs!! So happy I found these girls!

Customer service is severely lacking. The workers are very unprofessional. I will never be back to this salon. I would rather get my hair color from a box then have one of their stylists do my hair.

If I could give this salon a 20/10 I would. All of the stylists are more than eager to help one another and always have a smiling face. I had the pleasure of meeting both of the owners today while I was heading out the door with the best color I have gotten before. Tara was my stylist and she nailed it, I had no complaints. I would recommend this salon to anyone of any age. It is very clean and modern with a very high quality product line up in the front of the salon. I can't wait to come back!
