WOW! Salina did an AMAZING job on my hair!! I have dark brown hair with a few brown highlights that turned into an unattractive brassy color. This was my first time at the salon and - as most of us know - it is a huge risk to go from your old stylist to a brand new one. I'm glad I took the risk because I've been getting compliments left and right since my appointment! It was the first heavy snow storm of 2019 and EVERYONE, except me, cancelled their appointment. I was the only one in the shop the entire time! I sat there and thought to myself, "maybe she is still building her clientele?", until I checked out her Instagram. Salina is not a newbie to the hair world and it is obvious based on her portfolio. Anyways - Salina started out with sectioning my hair and preparing it for color. I opted for a full head of highlights. According to the Booksy app, every additional mix is an extra $20. Salina made sure I knew the number of extra mixes that were being added into the total price. After several minutes of waiting for the color to sink in, we went to the washing station and added a treatment to my ends at no additional cost. The price included any style so I opted for a blow dry with barrel curls at the bottom. In total, I expected to pay around $250. I ended up paying $170! We had great conversation, the atmosphere was great, and her adorable kids were there! The salon is kid friendly (as long as you watch your kids). The only drawback is parking. The shop is on Hertel and as we all know Hertel can be hit or miss with parking depending on the day and time you head out. Salina has won yet another customer for life!
