Safas Salon and Spa in Ann Arbor, MI

I hate leaving bad reviews and I don't hardly ever do it. I didn't want to leave this one, but I felt a little like I was ripped off and it really bugged me. I went for a manicure & pedicure. A splurge for me. I had an appointment and waited nearly 45 min -- which isn't a big deal for me, I'm a patient person. But that meant I was the last person of the day and they tag-teamed me so one person was doing my feet at the same time as someone else was doing my hands. Which was a bummer because this was supposed to be a treat to myself and it felt rushed. They were complaining about other customers while doing it, which again, not a huge deal to me - I talked with them - but not really the relaxed experience I was looking for. Then, at the end, I tipped 20% which I thought was standard, and they kinda shamed me, saying "so I guess we're gonna split this..." And then the manicure/pedicure only lasted less than a week before it was chipping really badly. I don't know what's normal really but mine in the past have usually last 3.

I recently moved to the west side of town and was excited that there's a small business that I can frequent within a few blocks of my house. I'm not looking for last minute or anything special. All that I want is a mani/pedi. It's been nearly a month. I have called 4X and left my information on their answering voicemail and have texted 6X to the number in the outgoing message. No response at all. How can you run a business when you won't talk to your customers? I'm really sorry to leave this review for a woman owned small business, but this is seriously unprofessional. I feel like I have really wasted my time.

Me and my boyfriend got our pedicures done side by side. We had such an amazing and relaxing time! Safa and Denise were such a delight! They were very attentive and gave us tips on how to care for our feet. It was really nice engaging in conversation with them. And my feet look and feel fantastic :)

Great experience! The staff is very accommodating as I had my service dog with me. I got a manicure and pedicure which turned out great! The woman who did my nails was very friendly and it was a relaxing experience. I will be back!

I've been to Safa's a few times now for a Brazilian wax and have had a great experience every time. The salon is clean and Safa is very warm and inviting! The wax she uses is great for sensitive skin like mine and makes for a less painful experience in comparison to other waxes I've had it in the past. I already made my next appointment for 5 weeks out! Would highly recommend a visit :)
