S.Ozair Beauty Salon in New Hyde Park, NY

This is my first review and had to write bcoz of my experience here. I really wanted to like this place. Went for simple trimming and had to make 4 visits to get done correctly. Some other woman than owner did it the first time and it was so bad. Owner was right there sitting behind watching movie but did not take an effort to come up and take a look at my hair once. The woman doing was calling her again and again to come Check once. Finally had to make 3 more visits to get it done from owner. Overall bad experience and would never recommend to any friends in the area.

Amazing salon! I went on Friday (I had a Groupon). The salon is very clean. I want to try other things next time but for this visit I just got a wash, trim and blowout. It came out really nice. She was very friendly and I left very happy :)

I was looking for a hair salon close to home where I can go for a quick wash and style. I ended up getting a haircut and did not regret it one bit! Sandus is so sweet and made my mom and I feel very welcome. Both my mom and I were extremely content with the service we received. Although I am super picky with who cuts my hair, I can certainly say that I will be returning for my next trim to this wonderful place!

I've always been hesitant to try new hair salons because I'm EXTREMELY picky. Fortunately, I found S Ozair Beauty Salon and there is no turning back for me. Finally, my one stop shop for everything hair and beauty related!! Sandus is a consummate professional with thorough knowledge of hair, skin and beauty standards and trends. She recently colored, highlighted, cut and styled my hair for a wedding I attended. She also threaded my eyebrows (they came out perfect!). I received so many compliments throughout the evening- without a doubt, this is my new go-to place!!! Thank you, Sandus and see you soon!

I made an apt to get my haircut here, but was really toying with the idea of dying it for the first time, to cover the grays. Sandus was extremely accommodating and willing to do a dye + highlight on the spur of the moment ( it was a quiet Tuesday anyway) she understood that I knew nothing about dying my hair, took time to explain the process, the colors that might work best and repeatedly asked if i was okay through out the process. In addition, she was quite easy going to talk to and a lot of fun! In the end i loved my new hair and will return to this salon for future cuts and styling needs!!
