S. Egan Salon in Long Beach, MS

I'm new to the area so this was my first visit to this salon and even though the service performed was excellent, price wise, that was the only thing I was pleased with. Out of respect, I'm not going to mention who took care of me but when I was being shampooed, she got just as much in my ears as she did on my scalp because she made no effort to go around my ears. That was strike one. Strike two was the fact that even though I had spoken with this person earlier in the day, she never mentioned that she only accepted cash, which most people now a day's don't carry. Thankfully, I just happened to have some on me but what would she have done if I didn't? As I stated, I'm new to the area and it was my very first visit. I doubt very seriously if she would have agreed to let me find an atm, which would have charged me a fee because I haven't switched banks as of yet. Strike three was the fact that she took it upon herself to decide where to part my hair without asking me, her paying customer, what my preference was (my back was to the mirror so I couldn't see what she was doing). I still haven't decided if I'm going to go back to this particular salon or if I'll keep looking so wish me luck.

A fantastic little spot in Long Beach that offers big services. Dawn cuts my hair and styles about 18 other of my friends hair as well. They are friendly and clean and very reasonably priced. You can almost always get a Walk-In spot in case you don't have an appointment. I like that Dawn uses scissors and doesn't rely on clippers!
