So I went here for a perm... I have fine hair. I do. They make things so you can still perm fine hair. It's 2021. They wanted to do a strand test, ok.. sure, so they trimmed my hair, mention i did dye my hair a month pryer, my hair is still in great condition. Anyways, she trims it, then starts the test, she has no idea what she's doing. I felt bad, and I felt nervous because yikes, I could've done this at home if I knew you didn't have experience. She kept asking rustie questions about it, she earlier mentioned she might not be able to do it today like why. She did a strain on my purple hair, Ope here it is green!!! My hairs green. So we rinse, she said your hairs not holding it at all, okay I understand. Maybe if you had the curler tighter and didn't keep undoing it every 2 minutes it would've had time to process. Ok, back to washing, I'm pretty upset now like okay I just wasted 2 hours for nothing and now I got green hair. Awesome! So I just say kindly just stop and I'm going to pay and go. I asked how much and she says 54 dollars... whaaaat! For what? Turning my hair green or the fact you didn't have no idea what you were doing. Rustie was silent, of course because he knew they fucked up and shouldn't have charged me for that. So I paid and still tipped 20%!!! Would I recommend?? Fuck no. Since shay is gone, the place is trash, the 18 year old is completely clueless. And frankly rustie is a rude inconsiderate asshole. Yup!! The environment was so uneasy, I instantly regretted it when I sat down, but I wanted it so bad I just let it happen. NEVER AGAIN. If you want to be in a negative inexperienced over priced environment; then I highly recommend this place for you!! Luckily rumors in sand springs can do what I'm looking for, and it's cheaper and a WAY better environment with experienced people! OH I almost forgot y'all!! The perm they were using on my Hair is 10 dollars on Amazon!!!! What a cheap ass joke!!!
Rustie has been my stylist for several years. I have always been happy with my experience at his salon. It is a very relaxing, calm place to have your hair styled. You can bring him a picture from Pinterest and he will make it happen.
