Ruby's Creations in Statesville, NC

Unprofessional. Ruby will cut your hair without your permission or knowledge. No mirrors up to see what she's doing. She's not very good with a hot iron. I was burned several times. She watches TV while doing your hair.  Bad experience.  While I like the old school experience. I'm afraid she will seriously burn me or chop my hair up bad. I made my exit...don't go unless u get a full understanding of whats going to happen to your hair. There's no excuse to sneakily cut off a  client's hair without asking. May not be a easy exit for some. I choose to not let her touch my hair. Sour attitude. Salty hands.

I went to this Ruby's Creations and I was happy with the customers in her shop. One older lady begin to make some very negative comments about my hair having three different colors and my hair had one color in color applied to it. She begin to make other ugly comments when I was talking about where Iam getting married which is Paris, she was saying for me to not go there because of what Trump is doing?? I was at that point getting very angry with this lady. She don't know me at. Ruby is a nice person and a good stylist but she will never get new customers that wants to come there when she have mean jealous minded and ugly customers like that old black lady. After that horrible experience just by visiting that I refuse to go back there and will not tell my friends to come to this shop. What put the icing on the cake they all thought that I put relaxers in my hair. I kept telling them my hair is natural!! I didn't care if they believed me or not. This is a very unprofessional and ignorant people!! This is why I go to the Dominican Shops cause they are very nice and professional and really take care of your hair. I will never go to a black hair shop again!! I should report them to the BBB and Consumers Department!!
