A lovely little place for wine and a bite. Limited bites menu and limited, but carefully selected wine list all by the glass for bottle. Or try a dessert. Try the cardamom rose cake-- it's a fabulous something-different kind of pastry creation-- not a sugar bomb at all-- How they got the buttercream frosting that creamy without it being overly sweet-- it's a dream. This is a cake that you can actually pair with wine and it works. Housed in a cleverly converted gas station with an outdoor patio surrounded by native plants.
Esperanza is a must-visit! My husband and I live in Madison, and often make day trips to Mineral Point. When we heard about Esperanza's grand opening, we thought we should stop by. The outdoor patio is a perfect spot for summer wine sipping and a cheese board (amazing local cheese options!). The inside is cozy, and includes a wall of board games. We played games on the couch while enjoying a glass of wine and live music! Whether you live in the area, or you're looking for a short getaway, I'd highly recommend it!
Great new place, locally owned. Serving wine, beer, apps, and desserts. We had meat and cheese board and s couple drinks - all great picks. Deserts looked yummy!
