Robert's eye for style is beyond anyone I've ever worked with. I came to Robert's salon after finally deciding to cut my long hair, and I was feeling a bit nervous about the whole ordeal. I had a couple of ideas of what I wanted it to look like after it was cut, but I was honest with Robert that the primary reason I'd grown my hair out for so long was because I was never quite satisfied with how my hair looked when it was cut. Well, Robert changed my mindset for good when he spent the next 30 minutes giving me the best haircut of my life! I could not believe that he was able to not only think on his feet with such speed but also deal with the fact that I was getting all sentimental about losing my curls. Thank you Robert for taking care of me and giving me a fantastic new look

Went to Robert this weekend for a foil. I told him I was trying to let my hair go gray and the best way to do that. This was my first time going to Robert. I have gone to Gene Juarez and colorist there just kept telling me I don't want to do that. Robert listened and said the foil was the best way. Well I absolutely LOVE my hair. What a great experience!! Cute shop and what a wonderful personable man. I would highly recommend a visit to Robert for all your hair needs.

Wonderful salon, highly trained colorist with amazing attitude. Robert is all about making me look my best ...he is a truth teller and will not color or cut your hair jn a way that really doesn't suit you and I appreciate his honesty! I had both a cut snd color and my hair is Super Super healthy and I have never been happier. I have a good friend that goes to him and has for years and I have never seen her hair look anything but fantastic. 5 stars all the way I almost didn't post this because I dont want him to get so busy that i can't get an appt. His prices are reasonable and his personality is awesome. I had a great time getting a really top notch hair style!

Robert Samuel is the best! His haircuts and color are great! But the very best part is his personality, so funny, so friendly! We laugh and laugh! His entertainment value is top-notch! Kristine

I was hopeful going in here but left absolutely disappointed. Foils were good although I didn't ask for two colors, he put a second one in anyways. My cut was awful. Uneven, jagged layers-- I went back a few days later to get it fixed and it looked somewhat better in how the hair falls. I have long, thin, straight hair. Very fine so you notice EVERYTHING. After 30 years in the business, I don't understand how I even left with the hair cut that he gave me. But really, now there is MORE of an issue and there are way too many layers around my face. I have a literal shelf in my haircut now, which is the same issue I spent two years growing out. I told him this before cutting that I had done that, and I left with a shelf worse than the one I had come in with. After the revisit-- it was EVEN worse. Thicker, with more unwanted layers in his trying to fix it. In all of it, he used maybe two tools, when I know professional stylists have at least 3 pairs of shears +special use styling shears. He is very nice, and great to his customers but I feel his technique needs some updating. Though he is a very sweet person, I will not be returning for my hair needs. Picture is after the second visit
