Rikeesa Salon & Spa in Cheshire, CT

I loved going to Rikeesa for facials with Kristen. Today I learned the salon has closed permanently. I still have a $100 gift certificate which I had planned on using next month. I don't think there was any notice about the closing. I am upset and feel gypped.

An absolutely stunning little oasis of tranquility just off the main road in Cheshire Connecticut that has an amazing array of luxury amenities all in one place; spray tanning, massage therapy, nail care, makeup application, hair care services, and more!

The spa is sparkling clean, well stocked with all top quality Aveda products and has exceptionally educated professional estheticians on staff for every service. The atmosphere throughout the salon is refined and modern but inviting, a perfect place to unwind. The location is easy to find and the parking lot outside is super convenient.

I have gone here for a variety of waxes and pedi's for years that were always done well.  
Decided to use them for makeup application since we had a wedding to go to post Covid, & normally do not wear makeup, but wanted to look my best.  I know a few other choices in town, but had only had good experiences prior.
Asked for a natural look w/ a light application.  Ended up looking like i had a mask on.  Not even a natural blush. She kept putting on more & more w/o improvement. So disappointed & mortified, but only had 1/2 hr til had to leave for wedding.  Would NEVER get makeup done there again unless they get a different, more skilled & experienced artist.

Rikeesa is an excellent salon! The interior is sparkling clean and trendy, with lots of comforts. The staff are kind and professional. I had the conditioning treatment for scalp and a basic trim of my dead ends, both of which were great. The spa treatment was excellent and very relaxing. I am definitely going back!

I would've given five stars if it weren't the blow dry. My hair was on the frizzy/dry side and didn't have shape to it when I left.

Husband was away for that weekend so came here to relax and have a spa day! Booked a hot stone massage and a pedicure.

There is only one massage therapist who is male. At first I was a bit nervous as I usually prefer a female, but Dave set my mind at ease. He was professional and made sure I felt comfortable. He asked if the stones were too hot and made sure to work on my troublesome areas. I would recommend the hot stone massage to anyone who loves the feel of a heating pad (that's the best analogy I can think of!). The room was clean and had a nice ambience. The only complaint was you can hear the other patrons and the chatter of the salon. Wish there was a way to make it a tad quieter.

The pedicure was pretty good, but not the best. The space is very clean, and Kim was very thorough and nice. I wish the massage was a bit longer and more firm. I did like that she was sensitive to my feet when using the callus remover.
