RH SALON STUDIO 1 AVEDA in Northeast Harbor, ME

Well...I was a bit nervous at first to go to a salon because I e never been to one always went to a barbershop...when I walked in was greeted and sat in a nice little area to wait for my appointment time...Kathleen was the nice lady I set up my appointment for...she was very nice, personable, took into consideration what you wanted and also made suggestions on what else could be done to keep my hair heathy...again never been to a salon so after the cut got my hair washed!! FUN! And then a light eyebrow wax again I came out looking 10 years you ger thanks to Kathleen and her professional hair care knowlege!! thank you again and def a spot to book when I come back in a couple weeks to stay looking fresh! Oh almost forgot set up an appointment ASAP this city had no availble chairs unless you have an appointment!! Kathleen is the lady to see!! Wonderful salon in a very nice area...public parking right across the street can't get any better and in walking distance from everywhere as well!

The salon is nice and the hair stylist was nice but I never been unhappy with my hair like this after spending 2hrs in the salon. I understand she can't make the ash brown happened for my black hair because according to her she only have two hours for me, so I have to choose a different hair color but I can't understand how she couldn't achieve the layered hair cut that I want. It's not worth it.

Sadly, and to my surprise, hugely overpriced for basic service.  They should advise regarding their upcharging practices, for example an additional $19 to run a flat iron through! Charging $60 for a blow dry following a root touch up.  Never, have I seen such a greed.

Id had the same long boring hair for over thirty years, a year ago this month I decided it was finally time for a change and I trusted Roberto to make that change happen.
Now I'm totally adicted! I walk out of the salon with my head in the clouds, at least 5 women I work with have gotten similar styles in the past year! By this past February my boyfriend (who generally would just pop into a storefront at a strip mall) asked if Roberto cut men's hair. He now won't go anywhere else!
Not only are the styles lovely, he teaches you how to fix your hair at home, and kept it simple enough that we can both look good with pretty minimal effort. The whole experience is just friendly and leaves you looking and feeling terrific!

Very poor!  But it is a nice shop. The lady to do my nails was late. My appt was for 9:00 and she got there at 9:20. Very little nail color selection. She was unorganized. No sanitary steps were taken no sanitary bag in the pedicure bath. I really didn't get a pedicure just a nail color change. Same with my manicure. I got gel nails and I had to keep reminding her what to do next. 80.00 and took 2 hours.
