I'm not going to be ugly here. I really try to take the high road.   I rated for reasons very well known.

I had a wonderful experience with Hope. She may be young, yet she is a true professional and a natural when it comes to curating the perfect hairstyle and rejuvenating your look. I walked in with post-pandemic box-dyed (black) hair which I dyed myself. She suggested balayage and I trusted her completely even though I have heard how hard it is to undo self-dyed black hair color and how unpredictably the color can lift. It came out amazingly! I am beyond thrilled and would trust her with any hair situation.

The vibe of the salon was incredible, it was just an amazing experience overall. The Belmont area it is located in is very cute, the services were top notch yet affordable. It was a great atmosphere and experience. I am writing this review weeks after my appointment as I fall in love with my hairstyle and cut more and more everyday.

If ever a name was more appropriate it was Hope at ReGen Salon.  Don't let her age fool you.  She listens and provides EXACTLY what you ask for and keeps asking until she's sure you are completely happy.  Best cut and color in a long time!

AHH-MAXING! Love Haley! She makes me feel at home and like a princess every time I come in. Gives me exactly what I want and also gives some great tips on what shampoos and products to use at home. Won't go anywhere else!

I had an appointment with Haley on 12/26 for balayage. I'd sent her several photos of what I wanted but instead got gray baby lights. She didn't have time to blow dry my hair and instead had the front desk girl dry it, because her next client was there. Haley spent the majority of the appointment gossiping about her co-workers to include a girl who'd just gotten engaged and was faking being out due to a possible Covid exposure. All that aside, I messaged her the next day telling her I wasn't happy, but she couldn't tell me what could be done to fix it. I am not a professional hair stylist, I only could show her photos of what I wanted but I couldn't tell her the technique she needed to use to fix it. With that, I didn't have the confidence in her to fix my hair. She brought me in a couple days later and I only had her fix the front because I couldn't wear my hair up. This would buy me some time to find another hairstyle who could fix my hair. I got two other hairstylist to give me their opinions on my hair and they quickly told me what was needed to fix it. I understand Haley is new and I made the mistake in trusting her and paying her for bad work. She kept telling me the previous salon she worked at wanted her to keep training her for a year, and I understand now why that was the case. Haley had the audacity to tell me that in two weeks is stripped my hair if it's toner, which is bizarre because I used the exact shampoos she told me to. I asked for a refund, not even in full  but to atleast cover what I had to pay someone else to ultimately tell me my hair was over processed. Haley is a sweet girl and has the potential to really be a good hair stylist but right now she needs supervision under an experienced hair stylist so that she can provide a quality service. I've sent follow up messages to her directly but she was unprofessional and has not responded.

** in response to the owners response, me mentioning the gossip is to reflect your employees character, I didn't need to hear all the salon drama, I was there to get my hair done. I'm not going to go back and forth, but the second time the owner did not approach me. That's a bold lie. $165 isn't worth this back and forth because I should have done better research, and read more reviews. Thank for responding to me publicly instead of in the private message.
