Regal Nails, Salon & Spa in Placerville, CA

This had to be my worst nail experience. I came into Walmart for some shopping, and my husband noticed that there was a nail salon and offered to do the shopping while I enjoyed a bit of pampering. My expectations weren't high considering it's in Walmart, and it looked run down, but I gave it a chance. Firstly, I noticed they didn't put a tub liner, but I looked past that. She was rushing the entire thing. I started noticing the tub was dirty, and it really triggered my anxiety. She didn't bring clean tools from a clean container, she had pulled the tools from the tub beside me. As she was exfoliating my legs, she began using her bare finger nails to scratch the product into my skin, which isn't necessary or sanitary. She then gets a tissue from IDK where and puts it's between my toes, so she can begin polishing I noticed different color polish and dirt on the tissue at this point, my anxiety was through the roof. I no longer could sit through this, so I leaned in and asked why it was dirty, and where did she pick it up from? She explained that she got it out of her pocket and that it's clean. I replied, no, it's clearly dirty. I told her that I didn't want to continue the service. She yelled "why?" I explained everything I wrote above, and she was arguing the fact that the tissue was clean because it only had polish on it from another customer. Not only that, but I told her the water was dirty. Everything has been dirty, and I'm trying to be patient with her, but I'm just done, and I want to go, and I would rather not continue the service. She offered to use clean water and clean tissue, and I told her that I didn't want to proceed. She starts yelling again and accuses me of trying to cheat her and I tried to explain that I'm not I'll pay for the "cleaning" of my feet, and she demanded that I pay for the full service. I refused to pay full price since she didn't paint nor did she do even half of a good job. She started yelling so loud that my feet were filthy, and she cleaned them and that I'm attempting to cheat her and that no one has ever cleaned my feet the way she cleaned them. She prayed that the Lord God bring me trouble, and she's never dealt with anyone like me, I was calm through the whole thing. I did not know how to handle the situation, so I called my husband to come assist me. He then dealt with her, asking her what he can do to stop her yelling. He asked her how much the service was, and then he said I'll pay you half since you didn't finish, She freaked out again and started telling him that my feet were filthy. He said no, my wife is clean she takes care of herself, and she said well she doesn't do it right. She continued to wish that God brings us trouble. She was demanding my husband hand her his card and she will charge it $15, but she did not wanna type the price in front of us. He made sure that she typed in the $15. She was so angry and laughed and said God will bring you trouble. Honestly, I could've walked out not paid and report her to the state board, but I would rather not do that to her even after her irrational behavior. I hope she improves her spa it's terrible. I would suggest no one come here until she maybe studies her book again. I don't know how she got a license. Here's her photo idk if she's the owner. Good luck hopefully management sees this and makes necessary changes before they get that customer who shuts them down!!

This place is very clean, the people are nice & professional & I will be getting my nails done on a regular basis.

I will never allow the woman who owns the shop near me again. I had been here a number of times without problems but the last time I was here she disagreed with what my foot doctor recommended for nail cutting and every time I started to say "But..." she sliced another hunk of skin off the side of my toe. Not being stupid, I quit talking but I still ended up hardly being able to walk for a week. I should have kicked her instead of simply not going back. So if you feel like being bullied by her go ahead and question something she's doing...NOT. By the way I always tipped generously so the attitude problem is a mystery. Her loss.

I wish I could give this no stars. This place is absolutely horrible. I went in for acrylics and a pedicure and the pedicure was done in 5 minutes I am not kidding. The acrylics were done so poorly and now I have to try and get them fixed

Regal nails let's start out with the husband he does a wonderful job but the wife von she a very very jealous I don't understand why she in this kind of business she not a kind person.i will tell her what I want she will start sandblasting your feet hard and even when you don't need them blasted so I will tell her I will wait until your husband done.she gets piss off it's not my fault your husband gentle and not you,I'm like the others why rate them but the reason why her husband.so sweet and kind so I rate them a 2 because of him
