Regal Nails, Salon & Spa in Elizabeth City, NC

Came in a month ago for my baby shower. The older gentleman did my feet. The very next day my gel polish was coming off! I came back they fixed it. Again my polish started messing up again. I came back and the younger gentleman fixed it. It was great! Both men were nice. Fast forward to today December, my husband and I come in for pedicures. The younger guy who did great did my husbands feet. He was nice & fast. Now the OLDER LADY with glasses did mine. I am 8 months pregnant and I have cracked feet. She was saying how bad and cracked my feet were.. loudly causing other customers to look in my direction. Of course I am instantly embarrassed I just asked her to scrub again. She COMPLAINED & then started talking about me in their language. I know this because I have the Google translate app! She then proceeded to say how one foot was way worse than the other. Had, she been more subtle about it, I wouldn't felt as embarrassed. But she was loud! She rushed! And her attitude sucks! I came back to this shop because it's beautiful and more relaxing compared to other salons I've visited in the area. However, I will never come back here again! I'm not gonna spend my money and have someone insulting me! I don't like anything about this lady. She cut me with the drill so many times!!!! She complained about the gel polish I had previously and when I told her I came to THIS salon she shut right up! She cut me multiple times! I even started bleeding. And she NEVER APOLOGIZED. She said do you want the piece off!? Like what! The younger guy left to run an errand (starbucks) came back and finished my toes. He's so sweet! I told him I don't like the old lady! I don't know his name. But he has much better customer service than the old lady. He takes his time and you can tell he takes pride in his work. So thank you to him & him ONLY! There were two other women working in the salon. They were quiet and working diligently with their customers. Which seemed great in my opinion . Now, if you want to be insulted while paying YOUR hard earned money come to regal and let the old lady do you!

Nail tech was rude and on phone constantly. Shape of nails was great paint job is horrible. Paint all over sides of nails and streaky and bubbly. Overall bad experience. Me and my friend were the only 2 people in there and it took them 30 mins to start.

I would give - 5 if I could. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon to get my eyebrows waxed as a special treat to myself. As soon as I walked in I was rudely asked what I wanted by the lady doing someones nails. I told her I wanted an eyebrow wax and she told me that she was very busy but told me she would get to me as soon as possible.  She then very rudely told me to go sit down in the back behind the curtain which I did but I had to push the Walmart cart from in front of the chair that she told me to sit in.  She came in the back on her cell phone talking to her son trying to get him to come in to work. She was clearly frustrated that she was the only one there. She proceeded to put the wax on my eyebrows as she was on the phone yelling at her son. She ripped the little wax papers off my eyebrows and proceeded to use her tweezers to pick my skin as she was still yelling at her son. I told her that it hurt and she told me it was because she was pulling the hair from around my eyebrows. I told her that I had had my eyebrows waxed numerous times before without this much pain. I tried to pay with my card for a nine dollar service she shooed me away and told me to go buy something at Walmart because she will not run my card for less than $10. I came back and paid her and left. When I got home my husband asked me what happened to my eyes. I looked in the mirror and the area under and above my eyebrows were swollen. I guess she took her frustration on her son not coming into work and her being the only one working out on my eyebrows. I will attach the pictures from TWO DAY AFTER I had the waxing so you can decide for yourself if you want to utilize this nail salon for an eyebrow waxing.

The lady that owns this nail salon is very rude!!! I went to get a fill in and she was the only tech. I didn't mind waiting until she became rude! The lady that was getting her toes painted complained about the polish, I still didn't leave. When her husband came in he started on the other lady & he was messing up, I didn't leave. The husband came to me and I asked him "How much?" He didn't speak English so his wife answered with an attitude, I still didn't leave! So after the wife grabbed my hair and started complaining and talking about me to the other ladies, I then advised I was leaving. The owner still continued to talk junk and I advised her that she can stop because I'm taking my business somewhere else. She still continued and I left. I'll never recommend anyone to go there!!!

Terrible service and workmanship.  Almost destroyed my nails with the drill.  Had cotton balls all mixed in with nail polish.  Made a complete mess of my nails.  Two and a half hours later they overcharged me $75 for their mistakes.  Will never go there again!
