Red Polish Nail Bar in Bel Air, MD

Until May 2023, I had been a customer of another Bel Air establishment for 17 years. After being treated with such disrespect, I sought a new nail salon and thankfully found Red Polish Nail Bar. You won't find a lobby full of customers waiting because your scheduled appointment is given priority. This makes for a truly relaxing environment with professionals who are each as talented as the other. Your needs are a priority, and I've never felt rushed or trying to rush me along due to the frustrated walk-ins who were there before me. I can't believe it took me so long to give up on the other salon. Jenny, Tony, Michael, and Tammy are fan favorites

Another update... I've been going to Red Polish every month since my first appointment with them (see previous review). I love, love, love this place! Tony and Jenny are awesome, I always get amazing service, and I always love my nails. They are not just nail techs, they are nail artists! Want something extra fun and unique? Just bring a picture and they are sure to please. Hands down (no pun intended) the best nail spa I've ever been to!

The staff is very kind and making an appointment was easy. The salon's atmosphere was fine..nothing special. I also didn't notice the manicurist using sanitized equipment on me. Unfortunately, the end result of my nails is why I'm leaving a not-so-great review. I had to ask multiple times to ensure they were filed straight. After I left, I realized there was a ton of indentation on my nails and the gel polish is very streaky. You can see in the photos they almost look bubbly. Additionally, the regular and gel polish was supposed to match but it didn't. They have a posted sign for no refunds so since I noticed it after I left and paid, I didn't raise it to the staff. But I will have to go somewhere else to get my nails redone.

My pedicure was decent. But I did have an issue with the pricing board and the pricing that's shown on their Instagram page in pictures. I got a classic pedicure that clearly says $25. I went to this place because it's so affordable and is closer to home. When I checked out, the cashier said it was $35. I told her that I didn't get the spa pedicure, I got the classic, which clearly said $25, and I pointed at the board. She looked at the pricing board and just said 'oh our prices have changed. It's $35 now'. I'm not one to argue or make a scene, especially over $10. But it clearly should've been $25 and it's false advertising. They need to honor the prices they're advertising until they publicly change them. Despite getting a decent pedicure, I won't be going back.

I love this place. only place i can trust to have a good set of nails done. the last time i went to get my nails done, the design i got was very light and is hard to see but other than that Love this place
