My first experience with a pedicure was in Logotee and was very pleased. Second in Terre Haute, great experience, loved it. I've been to Red Nails twice now and wondered why I went back the second time, because the first definitely wasn't great. Even had a manicure (first time ever) because I wanted to look nice on vacation. Very disappointed. Older woman did my manicure. She missed side of nail and left gaps in corners. Equipment that the use has been used before, not certain it's clean, for pedicures. In Terre Haute, utensils are sealed in plastic and you tzke them home. Will go out of town from now on, rather than risk contamination and for better nail coverage. Would give a zero star if I could.
Very rude. Me my mother and sister are visiting my grandma that lives up here and we wanted to get our nails done. We walked in and waited about 30 mins to even be seen, which didnt bother me much because they were busy, we finally get seated at a table. My sister is at one I'm at the other. Waited another 10-15 minutes and a worker came up to me with a plastic chair and goes "you sit here" Me being confused I grabbed my things and moved chairs on my for her to put someone else there, mind you I am pregnant. Then I finally get pulled to a different table, the worker asked me what I wanted and what shape. I said I wanted a full set and I want the cat nail shape. She looks at me like my head spun around sideways, and she responds with "cat eye" No I said cat nail, she still proceeds to look at me like I'm crazy. So I finally go "pointy'' and then it finally clicks, and she goes " Well we don't call it cat nail we call it pointy'' IT'S THE SAME THING. Their bathroom wasn't very clean either. They had no paper towels which is health code violation, had a big bucket of water sitting in a corner with towels in it, and something that looked like blood on the corner of the sink. More than likely will not come back. But am thankful for decent looking nails.
If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely the worst pedicure I have ever had! And it looked like a toddler painted my toes. Save your money!!!! I have no idea how there were so many people in here. And nothing is clean it looked like the same stuff they used on the person before.
Amazing experience! Walked in at 12:15 and out by 1:30 ( would have been done at 1:15 but I was picky about my nail design). They seem to be more staffed here than at the other nail salon that I've been to. Also, they cover the whole nail opposed to leaving a gap and are gentle with your nails. The nail techs know what they're doing and they did an AMAZING job on my nails. For $60 (not including tip) these ombré coffin Disney nails were well worth it! Looking forward to coming back!
