Fired the guy in Soldotna and stopped in RD's for a men's haircut. What a nice barbershop. 4 chairs and there were three barbers working. The wait was short and received a very nice men's haircut for a good price. When I'm on the Kenai Peninsula, this will be my barbershop of choice.

You wouldn't think it would be hard to get a good, proper haircut. But these days it is. Most barbers/stylists are young and for some reason can only cut my hair where I end up with a Mohawk. In the never ending search for a good haircut I tried RD's today. It looks like my search might be over. An excellent job and no Mohawk!

A three chair barber shop that is like a local meet and greet to talk about fishing, hunting and a few other things but not politics! Free coffee while you wait your turn and a friendly group of people.
Got a medium trim by Dave and he did a good job. Haircut is $14.00 and $13.00 if you are a senior citizen.
I will come back again.
