Ranch Creek Spa in Tabernash, CO

I had a deep tissue massage from Jenny and it was one of the best I have ever had. The small extra touches like aroma therapy made it so relaxing. The spa has a steam room, dry sauna and aroma therapy and they were clean and well cared for. The ladies locker room was lovely. The pool and hot tub were closed for the season but I still recommend checking the spa out.

A lovely, spacious full-service spa! This review is based on our visit in early March before the pandemic shut down everything. At that point their hot tub was already closed due to concerns of COVID-19. However, service remained impeccable. Detail oriented. I love that they offer vitality drinks (there's a whole menu). The massage was top notch, and the room has a tub. The room also has its own bathroom. Love the fireplaces throughout the building. Multiple nooks and comfy homey corners to sit in and relax after the treatment. There are 3 levels. There's a hop on the ground level. Women's locker room is also on the ground level. Men's seems to be in the basement. They also have men's and women's lounges, as well as lounges where everyone can go. Upon walking in they have a wall of shoe racks for you to put your shoes and change into their slippers. I love this arrangement. It makes the whole spa experience feel homey. They also have thoughtful bulletin boards of "Girls of the Ranch" in the changing room. Girl power! We'd love to come back after the crisis and when everything's open (yoga, hot tub, and all).

Not a spa seeker, but have been to many world class spas:La Costa, Innisbrook,The Venetian, Woodhouse....Ranch Creek is my favorite of them all. I will return. First, the spa at Devils Thumb Resort in Tabernash, CO near Winter Park, CO is tucked away and private with breathtaking mountain views, in a landscape dotted by a few luxury mountain homes and ranches. You feel relaxed just driving there! The entry lobby and paperwork are quick because they took your information when you booked ahead, yay! My therapist, Carolina, knew the massage that I asked for ahead of my visit...we added some deep tissue on my trapezius muscles at the last minute. My massage could not have been better or more relaxing! I had the bliss package, so I also had a facial with Nathana, and it was wonderful! I was escorted to several different areas where I could relax, have a cup of tea or water and fruit. One room had the fireplace going in July, yet it wasn't too hot....I could have stayed there the rest of the day! I went to the outdoor hot tub surrounded by beautiful flagstone with mountain views all around! My day was rainy, so I didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked.....so I just need to go back!

Peaceful environment. My husband and I had the couples massages. Did so last year for a mini honeymoon and went again this year to celebrate 1st anniversary. Can't wait to go back in the winter! Be sure to arrive early to enjoy the amenities! I had Chris as my therapist both times and he was wonderful. The only reason not 5 stars is that my husbands massage this year was not good. He actually claimed it was one of the words. I wish he would have told me before we left. For the rates they charge, all massage therapists should be performing at the same level as Chris. I will be sure to ask for him next time!
