No idea who this salon is or why they would fraudantly send me an email trying to pass off as paypal. Like, how shitty of a business do you need to be in order to try and scam people who have never set foot in the store?! Here's the email address: quynhfanhhairanh@gmail.com Photo of the scam email is attached. How shitty do you need to be in order to send fraudantlent emails?! Do you just scam people in person to? Do you even have your state licenses to be able to even have a salon or were they scammed too? 10000% wouldn't recommend stepping a damn foot in the place.
DO NOT COME HERE. I got my haircut w/ the OWNER Quynh & wrote a review back in November talking about my experience with her. Quynh texted me after seeing my review & asked me to take it down and offered to reimburse me $8 for messing up my bangs. I disagreed, & wanted to let her know that just because she opened up to me that day about her divorce & messy marriage that it does not mean i owe her anything. Keep in mind, Im a first time client. I was there to listen to her vent, & reassure her feelings but that's separate from me liking my experience with the haircut. She then gaslights me & says i'm "affecting her online presence" over my bangs. But i wasnt happy with the results & thats what reviews are for. I wont lie to the internet about my experience. She also mocks me for telling her that my "new" bangs affected my confidence. I work in social media & am in front of the camera everyday. I mean look at my bangs, If you had to show up in front of 500k people online, im sure you'd feel the same way. Lastly, i give her my venmo. She gets upset because i wont delete my review & tells me "sure, if that helps u out for the holidays" i was confused because she OFFERED to venmo me in the first place. If it were up to me, id tell her to give me my back $55
If I can give her zero stars, I would. I messaged her a picture of what I wanted and what I received look nothing like the picture. My hair was left overly processed. As she was combing out my hair I can see my hair was breaking off. She left to go answer the phone and I ran my fingers through my hair and chunks was falling off. She failed to mention this to me! The end result of my hair was brassy, I have three different colors going on, and the root melt was such a bad job. It was patchy all over. During my service she states that she only took a last minute appointment with me because she needed 2k by the end of the week to close down her house. I felt like she rushed her time with me. I messaged to let let her know that I wasn't happy with the result. I showed her pictures of her hair job that she did on me. She states that after looking at it, it is brassy. She said we can add in more foils to make it lighter. I told her that I did not want to bleach my hair anymore since it's already over processed by her. I just want to tone out the brass. I agree to have her assistant tone my hair since she was all booked. Let's just say that I probably trust her assistant more than I trust her. When I arrived there she again told me that we can add two foils to make it lighter. I wasn't going to add in anymore foils to damage my hair anymore. I just had her assistant tone it down. Even so when I got home, there's still some brass patches. The root melt was still patchy. I messaged her again and expressed to her that I was not happy at all. I paid $500 to get my hair fried by her. She did offer to fix it again. But at this point I did not want her to touch my hair anymore. She keeps saying that we need to add more foils. How can she suggest to add more foils when my hair is already overly processed. I asked her for a refund because the end result wasn't what it was supposed to be and my hair got fried by her. She states that hair breaks all the time. She also asked if I do this all the time to small business owner. Let's just cut it short to the end that she wishes to send me "good" karma. She refused to give me a refund for her shitty Job. I'm left looking like a clown.
She was nice but did not delivered what I asked for. She asked me what I want and if I had a picture. I showed her the picture of the haircut that I wanted and when I got done it didn't looked anything like the picture. I booked for a Baylage and a haircut and I got a Full foil instead, asked for curtain bangs but got stright cut bangs. Her receptionist/ assistant curl my hair and it was not pretty, It looked all puffy also she almost burn me a couple of times for talking too much and not paying attention to curling my hair I felt really rush and felt like she didnt took her time. She did what was convenient for her. Even though I didn't want to tip her but I didn't want to be that customer either.
This place is my spot for the Twin Cities to do my hair especially doing vivid hair colors. The vibe is cute and cozy. The staff are super friendly and know how to handle Asian Hair. I am personally very particular with who handles my hair because it is straight and thick. Prices are at a pretty solid price point for hair coloring. They charge by the amount of product they use. Also when my hair grows out, the color fades to another shade and looks good still. Happy with the quality of the cut and if I am in the cities for a while, I would come back.
