Got a pedicure, it was great! I liked Queen's pedicure a little better than Nail Time and Spa ONLY because they give a real good longer than average foot and leg massage. As a pregnant lady I really appreciate that. Both places are great tho.
I had my previous gel soaked off and a new gel coat done today (manicure only). They were very quick and efficient and reasonably priced - it took about 1.5 hr and was $50 before the tip. I showed them the style of the nail I wanted to have done and they were very accommodating to my request. I was able to look through the color palette and pick the ones that I liked. I wished it was cut a bit shorter (I didn't want to repeat my request to cut short too many times) and I wished cuticles were tended a bit more carefully (see some flaws afterwards). But for the quickness and the price, I would definitely come back to get more done in the future. Overall, a very good experience and will return here for my next one.
I called and had made an appointment for a fill at 5:45. I showed up on time. I waited a few minutes shy of a half hour past my scheduled appointment time. Then about halfway through I was moved to a different station. I then sat there for another 20 minutes waiting again. The tech then sat down and began doing the exact same things to my nails that the previous tech had just done. One of my nail designs is wobbly and patchy and the matte top coat I asked for was completely missed and instead I got a shiny top coat. I was in the salon for 2 HOURS for a fill. I'm extremely displeased. If you don't have the staffing to meet the demand of appointments don't schedule that many appointments. Not only that but I didn't even get what I asked for and I was in there for far too long. As of right now I won't be back again :(.
Update: I called this morning and was told "if you didn't want to wait you could have just left." And that since I had said it was fine yesterday this was all my fault. I had stated it was fine because I had been there 2 hours already and my entire evening was ruined. I will never be returning to this salon. Your business needs to do better.
I recommend Queens Nails!! They take walk-ins, are super clean and really thorough! Their massage chairs are nice too, I have short nails and they are understanding about that! The pedicures are great too!
