Queen Bee Nails in Casa Grande, AZ

I never write reviews, but this nail salon deserves one.... My mom and I recently moved to the area, and we visited the shop on a Wednesday afternoon. We asked for 2 nail fills and a pedicure. The gentleman (owner) and his wife run the shop, so it was just the two of them and their 18-month-old son. First of all, the man was so nosey in asking how much we sold our house for and what was the name of the previous nail shop we went to in Casa Grande. Salon was dirty and hot. Then, as the gentleman was working on my fill (wife doesn't do fills, apparently), he was moving my hand in an uncomfortable way with his thumb nail stabbing my finger. He gave me a dirty look and cut his nail. I told him he was hurting me and that I bleed easily due to having chemotherapy years ago but did not care. I noticed during the fill, he didn't put any primer on my nails before the fill, but I figured he knows what he is doing, and I wouldn't question him. His wife came and polished my nails, and we were done. Four days later (Sunday), I had two nails lifting, but the shop is closed on Sunday. So, I drove 38mins (I live in Florence) to the shop on Monday only to see a note on the door that they were closed. Tuesday rolls around and I had my mom call the shop to make sure they were there, and they said they had to take their son to the emergency room on Monday and that they would be there that day. So, we drove approximately 36minutes to the shop, only to find it closed again. I was pissed. So, I drove to a nail salon down the street and the manicuriest said they didn't put primer on which is why my nails were lifting. Just reassuring me that I know what I'm talking about. The technician said she almost would guarantee that the others would start lifting too. Well, 2 days later, my nails were lifting again. So, I drove back to the Queen Bee salon only to have the gentleman argue with me that the other nail salon is lying about the primer. He said their nail salon mixes the primer in with the powder. He lied about that because I have been getting my nails done for over 20years and have friends in the business so I know dang well, he's lying to us. He had the option to make it better but he didn't. The gentleman also said he had been in the business for years in Casa Grande, but that's not what the other nail salons told us. After speaking to a young lady at the Firehouse Subs next door to the salon, she said her mom went there and treated her badly, so she stopped going. I also spoke with a different salon, and they said this salon decides to close and open whenever they want. In between the chaos of it all, the gentleman kept getting up to attend to his 18-month-old son. The kid was putting his hands in the rotating fan, dropping nail bottles and getting into stuff. I love kids and thought he was cute, but don't bring your kid to the dirty shop and let him lay on the floor. Find a babysitter if you want to run a business. And why couldn't the wife take the baby to the emergency room and the husband stay at the shop? ?? They really don't care about their customers and their businees. It's not worth the time, effort and value. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to waste your time and money.

My mom and I had been looking for a nail salon that could take us as walk ins since 11:00am this morning, and finally at 2:00pm we stopped here and we're thankful we did. The man greeted us politely (something we hadn't got at any of the other salons we went to), and we were seated quickly. I will be coming back as a regular customer.

They decided to charge me 9 days later, and I had saved up my money for a important matter. I thought the charged me the day I got them done. Now, I cannot participate in the important events. Thanks ruining plans, appreciate it! The guy also cut the meat under my toe who does that it hurt for 4 days!

I do not recommend this place, we had an appointment for 3 manicure and Pedicures at 2pm, when we arrived the door was locked. The man came to the door and said he had a full house come back tomorrow! So why give us an appointment. This place sucks !!

Had a great experience here!! the customer service was great as well - they offer water or soda when you arrive- the price of the spa pedicure was awesome and the best price in all of the area. My feet felt so great when i left I finally found a spot that I can continue to keep coming back to after trying several spots
