QT NAILS SPA in Platte City, MO

I made an appointment for two people, my friend and I, and they didn't seat us together and I thought maybe they didn't have employees with adjacent stations but then they sat a customer between us.  I should've said something but it's wrong that they sat us apart in the first place. Since I picked glitter for my gel polish it was done really sloppily and there's polish hanging onto my skin and the edge of my middle finger was jagged. Never going back. Prices were more expensive than their website. not impressed.

Decided to do a girls mani and pedi day and they did not disappoint. This is the second time I have been there and they have done a wonderful job both times I have come in. I will definitely be back for sure. Thank you guys so much!

If no stars was an option I would put no stars. I had a terrible experience here. They were so rude to me and all of the other customers. They charged $3 per nail fix which is astronomical compared to most nail places charging a flat rate. Not to mention they charged an additional $3 for trimming my nails down. I asked for a design and I was given every excuse under the sun as to why they couldn't do the design. The customer next to me asked for a design as well, and the nail tech told her no and that it was ugly. This place is so unprofessional, and their work is terrible. My nails look awful, and I paid way too much to be so disappointed. Never go here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I am very disappointed with the service that my daughter and I received today. From the beginning to end nothing was right. I called to set an appointment for 11 the guy on the phone said we're not busy so that should be fine. I arrived a few minutes early. We were asked to wait. No big deal, 6 minutes after our appointment time that same man came over asking us to wait another 5 minutes. He asked to see pictures of what we wanted. He told my daughter they can do that and said to mine "oh those are easy." I was a bit shocked but just confirmed with him they had all the right stones, and chrome to recreate them (including the tree). He reassured me they did. As you can see in the photo they clearly didn't as there is not even a tree. 13 minutes later my daughter was finally sat at a station. A few minutes later they said I can have a seat next to her while I wait a little longer. They finally started on my set at 11:35. Basically being treated like any other walk-in. Fast forward to "picking" out colors. One thing I didn't like is they just assumed I want only gel and not dip. (Same with my daughter) the damage was already done because of the way they started. I informed my nail tech I wanted the red nail sugar coated like the photo shows. She seemed very confused by that technique. I explained it's simply putting glitter over the top of the color. She claimed to know what I was talking about. After she did it, it was clear she did not in fact know! I was asked what green and I said chrome as the photo shows... if you can do that. She again assures me they can. Well anyone that knows nail techniques knows that you can put chrome over any color. It doesn't have to be black. However she painted my nails black for the chrome. This including the middle nail which wasn't suppose to be chrome. Which she never discussed with me. There was more but let's just skip to the tree. She brought out Crystal AB stones and said you wanted red and greens right? Well this is all that we have. Of course I was annoyed as I had not only asked the guy but also her. Neither of them said they didn't have them. In fact they both claimed they didn't. I would have picked a completely different design or style if they would have. Instead she offered to "draw" a tree on my finger. Which I denied as that's not the look I was going for at all. At the end when I pass on stone and the drawing she said ok you're done. She didn't wipe off my hands no lotion or anything. There was powder everywhere on and around my fingers. Clearly she just didn't want to finish my service. I knew that was true when we were walking up to the cash register and my daughter points out how there are several colored stones in the boxes where the other box she picked up had come from. Clearly she was lying to not have to finish. I was so annoyed! Then for payment. We were not told of the shape charge of $5 each however I thought that was insane because as you can see in the photo those are not even close two coffin nails. I might as well have said that I wanted them squared off. My daughters are exactly the same and she asked for the same thing. This place clearly has no clue how to shape or what shapes are supposed to look like. If they did I might not be as annoyed by the charge although I do think that you should have it posted next to your shapes chart that you charge additional. Which brings me to my last point I was charged an extra $1.50  for using a card. However I watch them take 3.00 off of multiple different peoples nail service because they paid in cash. I don't see the point in this kind of business. Especially because they only except tips in cash and you were charged an additional dollar just a pull money from an ATM. Which I did prior to service and wish I wouldn't have. It should just be a flat rate straight across-the-board your amount is what it is! I drove 30 minutes away, taking a risk on  a 1 review 5 star salon because of all of the beautiful photos. Well customers beware! I believe that these are mainly stock photos. In the corner they say ULIKE let me tell you No I do NOT LIKE mine! Update: 3 hours later my nail polish is already chipping.

2nd time coming here and always a pleasant time!!
I will start coming every 2 weeks because they make my nails look great!! The lady did awesome on my halloween nails!!:)
