Prime Cuts in Johns Island, SC

I had a wonderful cosi with Norma who did my pedicure and SNS manicure! Overall my experience was positive! The salon was clean, she offered me a beverage (water, tea, etc) and had a lovely conversation with me during my visit! The pedicure was amazing and she really took her time with both services!

I give the salon 3 stars because it's a pricier place for an average pedi and manicure (SNS), but the prices tend to be higher in this area.

Excellent pedicure experience! Norma gave me the best pedicure ever and the views of the marina added to this fabulous experience. I will return again and again!!

Don't take a chance on this one folks; for me, unfortunately this was a huge disappointment.  First, the salon was a bit run down and disheveled...I'm not stuck up or hard to please, but with a little effort and TLC, it could be decent.  I was turned off by the disarray- less clutter, more cleaning.

I tried so hard to be grateful, but 2 days later, the quality of my nails is unacceptable which compelled me to write this review.  

I got an SNS (dip) mani, no take off needed. First, the technician was annoyed that I'm not a mindreader and preferred my entire forearm as opposed to just sticking my hands thru the divider. No problem, I can adapt. But continuing to sigh and yank my hand around isn't going to benefit either of us.

You know what would have benefited both of us?
1) a warm greeting
2) offer up a water, wine, or soda
3) explain the services you offer
4) use quality products & techniques
5) don't react or intimidate me when I receive a text or notification...cuz trust me I'd rather not work when I'm supposed to be relaxing, so I'm more annoyed than you are, and
6) when I ask for separate bills, give me the correct amount of my share of services - don't be lazy and just tell my friend and I to split it.  We chose different services at different prices.

Y'all weren't rude, but both of my  services were rushed and frankly, of poor quality.  Within about 30 hours, the top coat started to peel off one nail, then another and so on, which has literally never happened to me! I have been going to the same salon for 8-9 years or so and man, I guess I'm spoiled...cuz I typically can go about 3 weeks between dips, even 4 or 5 is not unheard of. Even if it was 10 weeks (thanks COVID), never ever did my nails look this bad with peeling and lack of shine.

Picture attached. Notice the peeling on 3 of 5 nails!!! For the record, my friend's services were just as bad. She got gel, and it too is peeling and some of her toes had peeled off by morning.  We should both return and have them fixed properly but, nah thanks.

Splurge for the overpriced salon...you'll get the level of quality and professionalism and it's worth every penny.
