Precision Family Hair Care in Howell Township, NJ

My mom has been coming here for a while now just to get her hair cut and almost always comes home satisfied with the result, so I figured I'd try it for myself when I wanted to get my hair highlighted, balayaged and cut. Kelly was very rude from the second I sat down, asked me once what I wanted and only slightly glanced at the photo I showed her. Since it was pretty different from what I had at the time, I was shocked when she barely even looked at the photo but figured she was a pro so she knew what she was doing. She proceeded to tell me throughout the entire appointment how awful my hair was, she repeated it at least 10 times. I just kind of sat there awkwardly because I'm already self conscious about my hair, and was extra uncomfortable in such a new situation. I rarely change my hair so much, and was mortified that she kept insulting me in such a way. The receptionist even chimed in one of the times, agreeing with her. In the end, my hair was not what I had requested. All she said about it was "yeah you're not getting the color you wanted." At the very end. Really?? So unprofessional, and to top it off it costed me $215 including the tip. Now I know these things are expensive, however after I got back home, I saw the same thing priced at $59 at another place near by. I was disappointed, and will never go there again.

I was visiting my bf in jersey and wanted to go get a blow dry. not knowing the area i yelped the closest place and this came up. I would normally go into a blow bar but i figured its close why not. From the second i walked in the women was rude to me. Before i opened my mouth she assumed i was trying to sell her something and said "I dont want it" i might have been a little too dressed up for her im not sure but i told her i wasnt selling anything. you would think she would say sorry or look like she wanted a client the place was empty. I was a receptionist for years and never in my life have a been rude to anyone that walked through my doors. no matter what what they where wearing. you are the front of the house you represent it in every way. let me say hello first before you prejudge me and pretty much asked me to leave. after she continued to be rude i walked out and found a better suitable place that simply knows how to greet someone walking into there establishment. like they they you get more bees with honey and nothing about this place was sweet. with so many salons i recommend going anywhere else.

If you are in the mood to be verbally abused by the owner of this shop then this is the place for you. The owner is unprofessional, discourteous, condescending.. Its unfortunate that the hair stylist are very good. Myself, I have been going to Julie for over 10 years, and when when I was talked down to for the second time I decided that I will never go back. The owner needs to go to some managerial classes if she wants to stay in business. Since she took over the shop is never crowded.

I recently moved to the area, and didn't want to travel to my former stylist. I made an appointment with Kelly for a color, cut and blow out. I was extremely satisfied and happy with how everything turned out. Kelly was top notch, and the owner and other staff were friendly and welcoming. I found my new salon!

i saw many bad review about this hair salon, but i still try it. I'm easy and i thought many people were so very picky . But now i changed my mind when i came here. I said i wanted to curl, and high light my hair. And they say it cost about 180$ totally and in 2,5 hours. A girl named Kayla died my hair and the color was terrible, i want the brown but she did the top were brown and whole hair is black. And then, she continued to highlight my hair with that terrible color. i told her that i want my color even, why it look so funny but you still continue. and then she explained that because i dyed my hair before that why i just have the color right the place growing hair. I said why dont you clean my color before you dyed. After 3 hours my color came out, and just the color NO HIGH LIGHT, NO CURL and then They charged me 180$ for just the color on my hair. Because they spent 3 hours for my hair. Thats so terrible they made mistake, detroyed my hair and charge the same money for highlight and curl while they didnt do anything. I 'm sock because they just received cash 180$, no credit. That's horrible exprience. I never ever came back this hair salon
