Kristine is excellent! Not only did I get exactly what I asked for (partial highlights with blowout) but the price was fair, the atmosphere was relaxed and Kristine was super funny. I love my hair! Couldn't be happier!

Based on the reviews I read, especially of the owner, Kristine Reynolds,
I thought it would be a great place to get a perm especially since I live in the same town. I drove by on March 23 and they were closed. A sign on the door said "by appointment only" with a phone number taped to the door 208-916-1674. Understandable due to Covid. I called March 23 and left a message.
I also left a message on March 24 on their website. I did not book an appointment through their website because I wanted to know if they even did perms (their website was vague about perms) and get a quote. I called their Post Falls shop March 24 and they WERE open, and a very nice young lady said she'd get a message to Kristine, the owner, who only works outs of the Rathdrum shop. By March 29, SIX DAYS later, still no return call, so I found in their Facebook postings another phone number 208-304-2453, so I called it. Kristine answered and in a very CURT voice asked "how did you get this number? This is my personal number!" I explained it was posted on her Piper9Salon Facebook page. I also nicely explained I left a message 3 different times to get a call back from HER about getting a perm. She said she'd "call me back when she was back to work". The very next day, March 30, I got a voice mail from her acknowledging my message and she doesn't do perms, but a gal in their Post Falls shop does. WHY DIDN'T SHE JUST TELL ME THAT THE DAY BEFORE? It took 7 DAYS of trying to track them down to give them MY business and for this reason, I would not recommend them. Her attitude and the rude tone in her voice when she answered the phone said it all!  And you may ask why did I publish her personal and business numbers in this review, why not? They ARE public on her Facebook page!

Kristine Reynolds is AMAZING!!! I am absolutely thrilled to have found a stylist who truly listens and with her expertise, she gave me realistic options for my hair. I chose the option of less processing to work toward restoring the integrity and health of my hair, and I could not be any happier!! Kristine made my hair look and feel better than it ever did before! She gave me the best haircut, and I was thrilled with the color---the shade could not have been more perfect! So happy to have found a stylist I look forward to going back to and trust! Kristine is a gem! She knows her craft, do not hesitate to go see her, you won't be sorry!!!

Kristine does an amazing job and that's an understatement! Her commitment to knowledge of the latest products, styles and techniques is impressive. I have been through six hair stylists over the past nine years and have FINALLY found one (lucky #7) I will keep going back to.  Kristine was great!  We spent the first ten minutes talking about what kind of cut/style/look I wanted, how much time I want to devote to my hair care routine, etc.  The finished cut/style was terrific and the best (by far) compared to the previous six stylists.  For the first time in nine years I am looking forward to my next appointment instead of the usual dread I feel.  The salon is nice and has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
