Perfect Look Hair Salon in Vancouver, WA

I needed a haircut and was welcomed even though I didn't have an appointment. The stylist suggested that I try some slight layering to give my hair a bit more "dimension" and fullness. I've had shoulder-length hair with no layers for years and it's easy for me to take care of. I expressed my concern that layers may make it more difficult to style and care for and she assured me that it would work out, and started cutting. It looked fine..a little uneven to me, but she said it wasn't, and it WAS bouncier than it had been, but in subsequent days I've had a hard time pulling it back or putting it into a bun without strands straggling or getting in my face. Guess I'll grow out these layers and start over.

I have never had such a dissipointing and unprofessional hair experience and will not return to this salon. I made an appointment several weeks in advance as I typically do. I recently relocated to the Vancouver area and several people recommended that I try this salon. The recommended stylist are no longer with the salon. I figured any of the stylist were likely good. I was wrong. The salon was Extreamley unprofessional. Several of the stylist wore sunglasses on their heads, were doing eachothers hair & playing music on their cell phones. The stylist were poorly groomed none of them appeared to have combed paid any attention to their own hair. Although my appointment was confirmed a day ahead by the salon they called the same day requesting that I come in 2 hours later because the stylist would not be in until then. Normally with my schedule this would not work luckily i happend to be flexible. When I arrived I waited 25 minutes until they found a stylist to do my hair. The stylist that did my hair although nice was very unsure of what she was doing. A trim & highlight can take 2-3 hours which I am accustomed to. My hair took her 5 hours! She consulted other stylist to confirm what she was doing & then freaked out that the foils were on too long on part of my hair yet she was not done foliling. When the cut was complete the stylist asked "you don't want me to style your hair do you"? After being in that chair for 5 hours & the fact that she asked I declined. My color thankfully turned out fine. I was releived that it was not orange or an awful color or falling out. My roots which were what I came in to have touched up were not touched up and looked as they did when I walked in. I likely should have returned to give the stylist the opportunity to correct my hair, but could not imagine sitting in that chair any longer & feel that the stylist working were incompetent. I also found it to be a big turn off that upon consulting with the stylist they workout a quote & have you sign it prior to starting hair process. The overall experience was awful. Perhaps the stylist need more education? On a positive note Prima Salon in portland is excellent as well as Tres Bon Salon on Portland and as I've learned are well worth the drive.

dont waste your money . i have went here for a few years now and it has went down hill so bad i will never go back . went there to have my hair cut and colored . the hair cut was what she wanted to do not what i asked for the color was so bad i had to go back and have her fix it . she charged me to fix it and was very rude about it . the staff seem really unhappy there and not well trained .

short and sweet. i had a great experience. my stylist listened to what i wanted and we just did a trim with layers. Ive been growing my hair out for some time now and i wasaffraid to get it cut but she put me right at ease. I WILL be going back. Maybe next time fo color :)

Growing my hair out. Had it nicely below my shoulders. Went into get it cleaned up and get a little shape to it. Came out with super short lop-sided hair... My hair was cut exactly the way the hairdresser wanted it. I have almost a bald chunk on the back-right side of my head. The hairdresser Jessica was AWFUL. He projected she didn't want to be there. She argued with my concerns. Like parting my hair down the center when my part is on the left. Not wanting to thin my hair out the way I normal have it. And straightening my curly hair to cut it. Her exact excuse..... It's my fault for parting my hair the way I do.... The only reason I can give them a ONE STAR is because of the receptionist. She was pleasant, understanding and even tried explaining to the hairdresser my concerns..... Off to go have a pixie SHORT hair cut....... ;,,,,,(
