I am so glad I found this salon. I was on the Vineyard for 2 weeks vacation with a wedding on the last day. I needed a mani/pedi and color/cut. I was nervous about going to a new salon for a special occasion, but I couldn't have been happier with the results. Tracy matched my color perfectly, gave me a great trim, and blow dried my hair in the perfect style for a formal wedding. Rhonda gave me a beautiful, relaxing manicure and pedicure. I highly recommend Panache Salon in West Tisbury when you are up island.

I chose Panache Salon for all of my wedding salon needs after a thorough internet search of other options in Martha's Vineyard. My initial attraction came from the overall vibe I got from their website and brief contact via email and the phone. My husband and I love the views and atmosphere that come from the Vineyard, but we don't necessarily love the "stuck up" / "everything should be expensive" feel you can sometimes get in the area. Panache seemed much more affordable than other salons and seemed like they genuinely cared about me. I didn't feel like just another bride. We got married at the Harbor View Hotel, so it was a bit of a drive from Edgartown but it was absolutely worth it. I met with them in February to do my hair trial about two months before my wedding. We live in Minnesota, so our flexibility with scheduling was limited. Panache was fantastic about getting me in while I was in the area. I spent a few hours at the salon and Renee was great! She tried more than one style and since I didn't really know what I wanted, I was thrilled to see her ideas. The make-up artist happened to be away during my visit, but we agreed that I would do my make-up trial the day before the wedding in April. I ended up scheduling a blow-out as well. So, for my rehearsal dinner, I had my hair and make-up done. I HIGHLY recommend doing something like this :) It's awesome to feel beautiful during your whole wedding weekend. I only had men in my wedding party, so it was just me getting my hair and make-up done (or so I thought). When we visited the day before the wedding, the make-up artist was talking with my mother quite a bit. My mom _never_ wears make-up and has very sensitive skin. They worked through a few ideas together, and she ended up doing both a trial and make-up for the wedding day. She looked beautiful and it was awesome for me to see her pampered. It was such a personal experience from start to finish. I think I ended up changing my wedding day appointment time a few times as things came up with the weeks before the wedding. They were crazy responsive if I ever needed anything. The stylists were punctual on the wedding day and let us (my mom, aunt, and myself) drink mimosas and just have fun. My two-year old niece was also there and managed to wander around and just be a two-year-old without issue. She ended up getting her hair done too - glitter and all! On the day before the wedding and my wedding day - my hair stayed put through some crazy wind. It felt great to not worry about a thing while our pictures were taken down by the windy Edgartown lighthouse. I ended up spending a bit more money than I had planned, but once I got to know the folks at Panache Salon, I didn't want to stop giving them my business! If you're looking for a personal, affordable, quality experience for your wedding hair and make-up, Panache Salon is definitely the place for you! I cannot recommend them enough.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!! Owner is irresponsible and won't own up to her mistakes. My daughter had an appt for a wedding hair trial at 8:30 AM. We arrived at the salon and waited for the stylist to come. Went in, sat in chair where the stylist proceeded to tell us she's the only one available for the wedding on a Sunday and they're looking for another stylist but haven't found one yet, everyone else in the salon is booked. Says she cannot do 7 people alone. Say what??!! My daughter has been in contact with this salon for a month or more and the owner left it up to the stylist to break the news, nothing like making your employees do your dirty work. Supposedly Internet was out so contacting anyone was impossible. My daughter did not want to pay for the hair trial if they couldn't do the wedding party, totally understandable. Stylist told my daughter to think about it, she understood her frustration and she had an opening the following morning and would put her in should she decide to go with them. We left and decided to contact another salon she had been in touch with. While driving back to our house my daughter received an email from the salon owner, and you guessed it, it came from the salons email address, guess internet suddenly worked. Owner wrote that since we thought the stylist was too young and perhaps didn't have enough experience they were going to decline the wedding!!! NOTHING was ever said about the stylist age or experience, never entered our mind. That owner is clearly no good and shouldn't be in business if she just robbed her stylist of income. The other salon contacted us, we went in, met the owner who would be doing our hair and met the make up artist. No one in SEA SPA SALON could have been nicer. What a wonderful experience, so yes Sea Spa it is for us and I know we'll look beautiful and the hair/make up will be stress free. Your loss Panache owner.
