I called to see if they do couples massages and the gal acted as though I was completely imposing by asking. She said she could "maybe" see if they could do it depending on when. Even though I made it clear that I understood if they didn't offer that service, instead of saying they didn't she just kept stammering around making it very awkward. I finally told her to never mind because it seemed like it was going to be an inconvenience, she agreed and said it would be better to find somewhere else! Well, my response to that is, gladly!

They were very friendly and accommodating in getting me in on a short notice and Niki did a fantastic job on my cut and color! I plan on seeing her again!

I originally got my hair colored at the suggestion of a friend. I decline to include names of the stylists seen, because everyone deserves to form their own opinion of their personal experience. This was strictly my experience. I feel like, they feel they need to uphold a certain clientele. If you don't fit that specific clientele, you certainly get that vibe. Very, very snooty. I felt very less than when I left after my first appointment. I asked my stylist to not blow dry my hair. My hair gets very unruly, and for me, that's embarrassing. I don't feel that I need to explain that to my stylist since I am paying for service of my choosing. I booked a second appointment only because I received a large gift certificate as a gift. I had a different stylist this time. While I was at the shampoo bowl, my stylist had to step away to get something. At that time, the first stylist that I had seen followed her to the back room. I could here them talking and I heard my first stylist tell the other, "oh she really pisses me off, I guarantee she won't let you blow dry her hair." At that point, I declined my haircut because I just wanted to get out of there. When I went to pay, the older lady at the front made me feel like an idiot by telling me that the certificate I had was not for their salon. After calling the person who gave it to me, she confirmed that, indeed it was. The lady at the front called someone else who also confirmed that it was one that she issued. Apparently not their usual certificate. So after a half hour of trying to figure it out, she finally accepted it. Recently, I returned there because I was in a pinch and needed a color. My stylist barely said two words to me unless I asked her a question. When I got done and was ready to pay, it was an insane amount. I just paid it and left. Upon looking at the website, they charged me nearly double of what the prices were on the site. I had nothing extra done and didn't understand the charge. I contacted them to inquire about the price and they told me those prices were based on new stylists. I understand that the experienced stylists come at a higher cost, but double? They should advise you of that when the appointment is made. It's very defeating to go somewhere to pay for a service that is suppose to make you feel good about yourself and you leave feeling like garbage. I will not return to this salon and will share my experience with anyone who asks.

Where is the zero star option?! Worst bikini/Brazilian wax ever!!!!! -she did NOT cleanse my skin down there AT ALL before starting to apply wax to my nether-regions. -RIGHT in the beginning she had trouble removing the wax strips to wax AT All she waxed over 3-4 times the same skin area before moving on. THIS IS NEVER ALLOWED!!! -She nervously claimed that this was because my body temperature was high and it was reacting different..... and no.... this was because this wax she was slapping on me was burning hot... too hot.... which was causing the wax to stay soft and not take off my hair... I'm not stupid. -she had me hold parts of my own skin back for her to get to parts... I'm not a cosmetologist so I'll listen... but after thinking about this... she had me pull back to tighten my skin with unwashed and un gloved hands on raw bleeding sticky ass pubic skin, and my hand stuck and hurt so bad when she had me hold other parts. -while this was happening for a while I asked for a pair of gloves and she nervously gave me a pair. She was explaining to me that she would have to leave the hair by my lips and just give me a good bikini wax.... after she waxed over and waxed over and waxed over failing to make her overly hot wax work... leaving my pubic hair in shambles... and my skin.... oh my god... -she did not remove the excess wax or cleanse or smooth the front section before having me turn over to do the backside.... again I'm not a cosmetologist... I'm the clueless customer... so I listened and didn't say anything when I should have.... my raw burning sticky freshly waxed un sanitary vagina was stuck to my inner thighs when she had me turn back over onto my back... I was in tears frozen/slow motion getting back into my backside. -OH YEA AND when she was done waxing the back section of my Brazilian/whatEverTheFuckYouWouldCallThisDisaster she had me turn back onto my back and once again she did not remove excess wax, cleanse, or sooth. Leaving my raw sticky ass stuck to these white slippery cheap sheets. - she tried to wrap it up and have me get up... I reminded her that I was all sticky and burning and didn't move.... so she then quickly and half ass took the wax remover on one small white cotton pad and rubbed that all over without reapplying more or changing cotton pads and did the same with the "soothing oil" she then left the room while saying.,. There's more remover on the shelf if you think you need to get more off...... -I then sat up and my ass was still stuck to the white sheets..... I cried for about 20 seconds knowing my pregnant huge self would have to sit in here and try to remove all of this wax she left on parts of me and I can't see or reach..... -after 5 minutes of her leaving me in the wax room and having a 8 month pregnant girl remove all of this leftover wax I finally gave up.... I grabbed the hand mirror on the metal rack/shelf and took a look..... one side was waxed where my thigh meets my hip near my vagina and the other side wasn't...... and my hair all in the front was left for me to shave when I got home... even tho that's why I came in..... because I can barely shave or reach or see down there..... -I was in there with this old looking dirty tweezers for another 5 minutes tweezing these leftover hairs all over in the waxed areas.... sweating and dizzy. -I finally put on some soothing oil all over the waxed areas and got dressed and walked out the the front desk.... "Oh there you are! I was just about to check on you! We thought you might have went into early labor or something haha" "so how about 15$ off of the regular Brazilian?!" "No actually I was in there removing wax and tweezing the best I could of the side you forgot to wax" "Oh ok so 20$ off so 60$ instead of 80$" I just agreed sad looking and got the hell out of there Two days later every single one of my hair follicles were infected with red blisters and pimples. Mind you I cleansed amazingly after this awful visit.

I have been going to Panache for a couple of summers now. The stylists are always professional and knowledgeable . I would expect nothing but the best from an Aveda salon. Only service I utilize is for my hair color and shaping. Appointments are verified both by text and phone message. They are not cheap by any means, however I believe in making that investment for nice hair!
