Both times I've been the wait wasn't too bad and they have a tv and couches. They didn't look exactly like the picture but I still loved them and they were braided well. All the ladies working were nice each time.

I had the worst experience at Pachudas'. I was made to wait two hours after my appointment time, only to be told no one at the salon did not know how to do feed in cornrows. It was a shame to pay full price for such an unprofessional experience, but I did because I know the women are raising their children doing hair. They are also cash only- which I think is ridiculous during Covid. Please stay away from this place

I was totally disappointed  with my experience with this shop as well as the employees. They were unprofessional, rude, and the one that did my youngest childs braid seemed to be incompetent. The shop wasn't the cleanest. My oldest daughter's braids have already started to come out after only 2 weeks and I payed $160 for it. They asked to be payed before they were even finished doing my me and my children's braids, which was extremely unprofessional. This was a terrible experience and I will never go back not recommend them to anyone

I had to give this raggedy place a one star but really needs no stars well I took my 15 year old to get lemonade braids done.. when my baby went in she had a head full of hair the braids was way too tight and my baby formed a scab in the crown of her head so I told her take them down as my baby was taking each of her hair braids down her hair was coming out and one all her braids was down my baby had a complete huge bald spot in the crown of her head with a dime size scab as well. When I called the owner Regina she asked for pictures I sent pictures and showed her in person. Regina response was I'll redo her some box braids free of charge on the following Saturday when I took my baby there on Saturday Regina had my baby sitting for over 4 hours without even starting on her hair. When I walked Regina was sitting down doing nothing. Also Regina made a statement to her fellow African members that my daughter was there getting box braids without any money... the nerves of her when your Africans Braider destroyed my baby hair. I highly suggest you find another African braiding shop to do your work. This place is very unprofessional and will pull your hair completely out.. DONT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP EVER

Total waste of $170 box braids from this salon. They only lasted less than 2 weeks.  I took my granddaughter there to get box braids done. At first they said it would be 3 or 4 hours, so I was thrilled that 4 women ended up working on her hair. But after only 2 weeks,  her hair started showing thru the braids. Talking on their phones and working on her hair was kinda of annoying.  Now I wonder if that was the problem. Too many distractions and not really paying attention to their work.  Totally disappointed and will not be back.
