I went in for a hair cut at the end of the day. Had an amazing experience. I went back the next day to get my lashes done. Not only was she fast she did a great job and was a great conversationalist. Its been about a week and my lashes still look the same as the day i got them done. Family owned place and it shows! Will reccomend to anyone looking for a good salon.
I understand why this salon has been called the best in Salt Lake City. I was in desperate need of color for my hair. I was from out of town & staying very near Orlando's. I do read reviews, & saw that Orlando's had all 5 stars. I called for a last minute appointment. Orlando, himself, fit me in & I'm so thankful he did! The young woman who did my color was excellent. She was thoughtful, friendly, & helped me figure out what coloring was right for me. Orlando was friendly & professional. The atmosphere is very clean & roomy, with plenty of stations. My hair turned out great! If I lived in SLC, I would call this my salon!!!
The very last time I came to this salon, I was rushed in getting my hair done because they had to prioritize their "prom clients". Not to mention the fact that I went in for a cut and style but the lady said, "since we are short on time, you have to choose if you want a cut with a style but no wash OR a cut with a wash but no style" yea I'm not going in to get my hair washed and walking out like a wet dog. This place is a joke.
I am very excited about the great cut and color I received last night from Alicia F. I travel around the country so finding somewhere to get my hair done is nerve wracking, my last cut and color was a disaster so really needed a win. I loved everything about the experience. The stylist was knowledgeable about her product, spent time discussing my needs and then came up with great suggestions. The salon was clean smelling and looking, not always the case, and I was even offered something to drink as soon as I sat down. My only complaint is that I don't live in the area so I could know that my next cut/color will be as great! Thank you Orlando for having such a great stylist.
I usually don't review things on Yelp; however after my second visit to this salon I felt I must.
I recently relocated from New York and initially picked this place simply because it was walking distance from my house, but after my first visit I was really satisfied.
The employees are really nice, my haircut was exactly what I asked for, the price is pretty affordable, overall I had a great experience,
I definitely recommend this place and will be going back there.
(When I checked out they gave me a free makeup bag - which I thought was pretty neat)
