New Star Nails in Nashville, TN

Only 1 star because the husband is nice. The wife raised her voice at me on 2 occasions. Somebody is going to slap the taste out of her mouth. I had a piece of hard skin on my nail that was left behind. She wanted to argue with me about it. Her husband took care of it. I work at a mental health facility and there's no need to go to a nail shop, pay money, and have to tolerate someone who acts like a mentally challenged individual. Last time I went, I told the husband that I only want him, and not for her to serve me. My final conclusion is that I've decided not to even go back again. Now I see why the police was on sight last month on a weekday. Maybe it was because of her. Her husband would do better without her being there. Maybe it's just an Asian

Do NOT go to this place. They are rude and unprofessional. I asked for just white dip nails and she stormed off and did not do my nails because I did not want fake nails on top. My natural nails were long enough to get dip and I personally do not like the feel of fake nails. So so rude. Never coming back again.

Good for pedicures but awful for nails. Full set started to break and fall apart within 7 days. Pictures below of what I wanted verses what I got. I called for a refund or exchange for a discount on a pedicure and got hung up on.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The most filthy nail salon I have EVER been in. I get there around 2 o'clock on a Monday, and it is empty, except for the two people working. The lady tells me to pick a color for my manicure, they have about 50 nail colors to chose from, out of these, only about 15 OPI, the rest are crappy brands you don't want. I then sit down after choosing the only neutral OPI color they had ( I wanted beige I ended up with dark brown). The lady then takes the bowl with dirty water in it and dumps it out and refills it without WASHING IT. She then proceeds to use a cuticle trimmer on me that was sitting at the station next to me WITHOUT WASHING IT. After she does a crappy job on my cuticles she then gave me a pathetic massage and painted my nails. After she was done I still has cuticles on every nail and there was paint on my skin. THEN, she used a top coat with purple tint, making my nails PURPLE. I went from wanting a basic neutral to waking out with purple nails. DO NOT go here. It is unsanitary and they do an awful job. Spend the extra few dollars and go somewhere nicer.

I don't get manicures but I absolutely love their pedicures and at a very reasonable price. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
