Natural Nails Bar in Mt. Juliet, TN

We called to make an appointment and were told noon. We were finally taken at 12:40. My regular manicure was started and my daughter was told to go sit on the other side of the salon . So much for spending some time together.

My manicure was very rushed, one nail was filed crooked/slanted and there was residual paint on the sides of most of my fingers.

My daughter got dip powder, which ended up very bumpy with literal dips on most of her nails. Her tips were done with gel, but not enough layers as you could still see through the color.

The people were very nice and friendly, but the results were subpar. Additionally, they nickel and dime EVERYTHING, unnecessarily inflating cost. For example, there is a cost listed for regular dip and one for French dip, which is normal and expected. But then they tack on another charge for using more than one color when French inherently uses 2 colors and has a higher price already. Then there's another charge to shape the nail and another charge for tips.

The salon we usually go to has a price for full set French dip with tips (and shaping) included, which is the same cost as this place's "French dip" before all the add-on fees. And the results are better in most ways. We won't be back here.

This salon is a rip off. Came here with my cousin as part of her bachelorette event. Her sister received a manicure and the gal servicing her paid no attention to her cuticles. She literally said to her, "my cuticles are a wreck." And the gal replied, "yeah, they are." she proceeded without cleaning the nail beds. I was getting my fingers and toes done, the man servicing my toe nails first was using the cuticle tool which also has a different head on the other side of the tool to scrape....well after he used it on me, he put it back in his tools cup. Does he even sanitize it??? Is it at least going into a sanitation solution? It made me feel that it wasn't sanitized to begin with before it was used on me. When he was filing my toe and finger nails, he wasn't even paying attention. He was just looking around. I had to tell him some of the edges were rough still. then when it came to my manicure, I paid for the same service one of the other gals in the bridal party had gotten, she received a hand massage, I did not. So again, not paying attention. On top of it all, they over charge for a basic manicure and pedicure. normally A basic costs about $25 at any other salon I've been to. I paid $45. But holy damn, with gel added, that was an upcharge of $5 per nail. I paid $100 for basic mani & pedi. Whatever I guess. I am in disbelief. And that was after the lady at the register applied a "back to school" discount, which was $5. I used to get my nails done monthly and I haven't been able to the last two years because I am an esthetician. So coming here for a wedding event, I was excited to be serviced for something I once loved. I'm very, very disappointed.

Lisa Ly took great care of me today. I had both a manicure and pedicure done. She was fast yet very meticulous. She made sure everything was just perfect. I will be back. Be sure to ask for her when you go.

My go -to mail spot. When I need to relax.. I get my nails done with a glass of wine. Love it here.

I have been with malin for 8 years. I could not think of going to another place. The rest of the staff are always kind and considerate when doing my pedis. We laugh and cut up. The nail service is beyond reproach. The cost is pricey, but you get what you pay for, and Malin Christine etc.. will do whatever you ask, or make suggestions. I feel that they are family, and I don't mean to sound as though I'm stretching. Please come here. If you do have a problem, they will try to solve it.
