Nails First in Decatur, AL

I am writing this review because no one who owns a business should ever be treated this way. My wife came to this nail salon to have her nails done; she has been a patron for almost 5 years. The owner Mike (Vo Chein) is very unprofessional and disrespectful. My wife went in to have his wife Trina do her nails, she arrived 10 minutes before her appointment. She went in and was asked to sit in the first chair, Mr., Chein asked to start on her nails, she refused because he has cut her and messed her nails up in the past, she informed him that she would wait on Trina and he became irate and cursed and her and gave her an obscene gesture. My wife called me crying and upset, Trina tried to calm my wife down as she set shaking and crying. She was so upset, no one should ever be treated like this in an establishment, this business owner uses inappropriate statements to customers, and he is very disrespectful. This was her last visit, and he will never receive our business again.

The wait was long but I had Amanda and she was fabulous! She took time and did a very good job! They have a clear curtain up between u and tech for social distance. Was very pleased.

They're okay... but I paid $40 for dip nails, and they're too thin. And are already breaking. Just got them done a few days ago. Not the first time my experience wasn't great here... so just beware I guess

the GREATEST nail salon ever. this is where i normally get my nails done for events or just for fun and be recommended it to many friends and will continue. never had a bad nail job. the workers are social with you and care about your nails. i just recently had a bad nail job when i went to a different nail salon but then i came back to nails first (i only went to the other salon because nails first was packed when i needed to have mine done) and they turned the nightmare into heaven and just in time before school. LIFESAVERS.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The nail tech made two of my fingers bleed when she was filing them. Didn't even use sanitary buffers or emery boards. I could see the dead skin debris from other clients still on the equipment. None of them speak English very well and didn't understand that I wanted dip instead of gel. I finally just let them do the gel thinking that it would come out looking okay. The nails came out looking thick and and poorly shaped. One even popped off after she was done and she quickly redid it, not even caring what it looked like. Should not have paid that much for such a crappy job. Definitely not worth the price.
