Horrible experience. I figured I would support local by going to a different nail salon and boy did I regret it. Long story short, I had an acrylic nail on each big toe so I went in to have them removed since my real toenail had grown out significantly. They did the usual of soaking my feet in the warm water and all seemed normal until.....he lifted my foot out and took a snipper-type tool and ripped off the acrylic. He ended up ripping my big toe nail half off and it started bleeding. I yelled, (to put it nicely....just a normal reaction to pain) and the owner told me this was normal. I told him that they were suppose to soak the acrylic toenails in acetone and he argued that they only do that for gel nails. Unreal. My toe was bleeding pretty badly and it was throbbing and I asked for a bandaid. The guy was still defending what they did and justifying it. Unreal. Patched up my toe and I came home to clean it up and put iodine and an antibiotic ointment on it. I will NOT return.
